Zoe Saldana has revealed her first kiss was with a girl.

The actress, 46, told W Magazine she was 13 or 14-years-old when the smooch occurred.

She mentioned that the person was about 13 or 14 years old, and she herself was the one who suggested they pretend to have a family. This is likely the reason why she wasn’t asked to join other children’s games at their homes.

By the age of 13 or 14, I had already shared quite a few kisses with many girls. I found that girls tend to be more skilled at it.

In an interview, it was revealed that Zoe, who received a nomination for a Golden Globe due to her performance in Emilia Perez, shared her list of childhood celebrity crushes as well.

She remarked, “Prince and Annie Lennox were intriguing figures. For me, there was an androgynous quality that I found captivating. I appreciate women with strong masculine traits and men with delicate feminine qualities. To me, that combination is incredibly appealing.

Currently, the actress has been wedded to Marco Perego since 2013, and they are parents to three boys. Their twin boys, Cy Aridio and Bowie Ezio, were born in 2014, followed by Zen Anton Hilario two years later at eight years old.

Zoe, with a rich history in ballet, including a role in the movie Center Stage, is making efforts to introduce ballet to her kids too.

Based on my personal experience, I strongly believe that dancing has been incredibly therapeutic for me as a man throughout different stages of my life. As someone who carries a fair share of tension and emotion, I can attest to the transformative power of movement and rhythm. Dance has provided an outlet for expressing feelings that words sometimes fail to capture, allowing me to release built-up stress and find inner peace. It’s never too late to embrace dance, regardless of age or background – it’s a gift that keeps on giving.

Her efforts have led to mixed results.  

‘At least my twins are tapping. My younger one, he couldn’t give a s**t who is dancing. 

He aspires to emulate the skills of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi on the soccer field; however, when it comes to their preferences, his twins seem more interested in a different world. They often exclaim, “Hey, are there girls in there? They’re dancing hip-hop?” And indeed, they enjoy participating in hip-hop dance routines.

Zoe was 11 when she began learning ballet, and she threw herself into it for the next 10 years.

‘I did it for 10 years vigorously, sometimes six hours a day,’ she said.

Dance became a source of comfort for Zoe, whose father passed when she was nine. 

During tough times, ballet served as my healing, my remedy, my trusted companion, and my comfort.

When I was just nine years old, my dad sadly passed away, leaving my mother in great distress. On certain days, her sorrow was so profound that she found it hard to leave her bed.

At the age of nine, things weren’t quite clear to me, but she sensed we needed distraction. That’s when I was enrolled in ballet classes, and I immersed myself completely in it, as it became a crucial part of my life.

Although Zoe didn’t become a professional prima ballerina, she still displayed her dance skills in the 2000 movie “Center Stage.” In this film, she portrayed a character studying at a prestigious ballet school and showcasing her dancing talent.

She expressed that she felt extraordinary when she was chosen from among the flourishing acting talents in New York City during the late ’90s. With a few appearances on Law & Order and commercials under her belt, she found herself auditioning tirelessly due to the exceptional casting directors in New York. When they recognized potential in her, they were fully supportive. The casting director for Center Stage repeatedly called her back.

Zoe, meanwhile, wowed in her shoot for W Magazine.

The actress, honored for her part in Emilia Perez, is featured among numerous stars adorning individual covers for W’s standout performance issue.

In a stylish atmosphere, she stood gracefully, accompanied by a martini glass. Her outfit, a magnificent white fur coat, made her look stunning, while her hair cascaded into elegant ringlets.

For the cover picture, she embodied classic old Hollywood elegance by wearing a retro-style outfit accessorized with gold jewelry.
