Zoe Ball’s new radio show has been revealed – here’s all the details

Zoe Ball’s new Radio 2 show has been officially unveiled.

Last year, the host stepped away from her “Breakfast Show,” but a hint about her potential comeback at the same station was dropped by co-host Gabby Roslin just last month.

The BBC has revealed information about Zoe returning, stating that starting in May, she will host a fresh Saturday program from 1pm to 3pm. During this time, she’ll share some of her preferred tunes and enjoy plenty of laughter as she reconnects with her audience.

As a gamer, I’m pumped up to share some exciting news! Zoe, one of the UK’s beloved presenters, has found a new base on Radio 2 during Saturday afternoons, and get this – she’ll also be hosting several special events for us throughout the year. This announcement was made by none other than Helen Thomas, our fearless leader at Radio 2. So, grab your headphones, folks! It’s going to be an amazing ride!

Moreover, she’s scheduled to host a concert tribute on the channel for Elaine Paige’s career, airing on May 4 from 8pm to 10pm. Furthermore, she has an upcoming interview with the singer for both Radio 2 and BBC TV, which is set for April.

Zoe choked back sobs as she concluded her stint on the Breakfast Show for the last time in December, informing listeners that it was an honor and a privilege to accompany them during their morning routines.

She mentioned, “I’m right over here chatting with a friend, and you’re where you are.” She went on to say, “The bond we share is quite unique and profound. I always appreciate it deeply.

As we’ve navigated the ups and downs of life side by side, I really hope I’ve been able to provide some bright moments and laughter when you needed it the most – a silly escape from the tough times.

She went on to say, “Your messages over the years have left me utterly amazed, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to hear your stories… Audience, we’ve shared many moments filled with laughter, a touch of silliness, some tears, numerous songs, and indeed, dancing. Here’s to there being more dancing in the future.
