Zoe Ball reveals daughter’s A&E trip after Christmas tree injury
As a seasoned gamer who has navigated countless virtual worlds, I can certainly empathize with Zoe Ball’s unexpected detour from her planned day. Life, much like a game, often throws us curveballs we didn’t see coming. The difference is, in real life, there are no respawn points!
Zoe Ball shared that her daughter had a mishap with a Christmas tree, resulting in a visit to the emergency room (A&E).
On her Radio 2 breakfast program early on December 11th, Ball disclosed an incident where her ex-partner unintentionally knocked over a Christmas tree onto her foot, causing some swelling and an urgent visit to the hospital.
She posted, “Sending affection to my Nell today.” Unfortunately, what should have been her final school day turned into a trip to the emergency room after her father accidentally knocked over a Christmas tree onto her foot yesterday.
Ball went on to say: “She got an X-ray and it turns out she’s just swollen, nothing serious. She’ll be fine, however, she was supposed to go ice skating with friends from school today, but due to her swollen foot, she won’t be able to fit into a boot. It never crossed my mind this could happen!
He seems genuinely remorseful, dear one. It appears these things happen, don’t they? How unfortunate for her! Yet, it makes quite an interesting tale. Therefore, I’m wishing her plenty of love this fine morning.
It was recently announced that Ball will be leaving the BBC Radio 2 Morning Show after a six-year tenure.
The broadcaster’s final program will be broadcast on December 20th, after which Scott Mills will assume hosting duties starting from 2025 as part of significant modifications to Radio 2’s schedule. Nonetheless, Ball won’t be leaving the station entirely; updates about her upcoming projects will be shared in the New Year.
After spending six enjoyable years working with everyone on the Breakfast Show, I’ve chosen to move on from those early morning wake-ups and embark on a fresh experience instead, as she announced during her program last month.
Ball mentioned that she’ll be sad to leave behind her audience, her exceptional Production Team, and her co-workers. However, she won’t miss the early morning alarm clock ringing at 4 am.
