Zoe Ball ‘blissfully happy with Norman Cook lookalike as they stroll hand-in-hand at Glastonbury’ – nine years after her divorce from the Fatboy Slim DJ

Zoe Ball was seen appearing ‘extremely content’ alongside an unidentified individual who bears a striking likeness to her former spouse, Norman Cook.

On Friday at Glastonbury, the 54-year-old radio host was seen casually walking with an unidentified individual, linking arms and appreciating the music together.

In photos taken by The Sun, Zoe appeared relaxed in a black outfit, accessorized with sunglasses that protected her eyes.

As I strolled through the exclusive section of Worthy Farm, a towering figure with stylish salt-and-pepper hair, reminiscent of Fatboy Slim himself, walked arm in arm with me.

A bystander informed the media that ‘Zoe is currently attending Glastonbury as a festival-goer, accompanied by her latest beau. They appeared incredibly content and were seen walking together, hand in hand.’

People couldn’t help but do a second look at her partner, as he bears a strong resemblance to Fatboy. It’s heartening to observe Zoe looking happy once more, they commented.

TopMob have contacted Zoe’s reps for comment.

Zoe and Norman, parents of Woody (age 24) and Nelly (age 14), parted ways in 2016 following 17 years as a couple. They officially ended their marriage in 2020.

Zoe maintains a tight bond with Norman and it’s rumored she has relocated from her £2 million countryside property in Sussex to a townhouse situated between Brighton and Hove, as it is near his residence.

Zoe and Norman, acknowledging their struggles with alcohol, have chosen a sober lifestyle now, each having spent time in rehabilitation facilities.

Earlier, Norman acknowledged that his ex-wife helped him remain humble during the peak of his stardom by keeping him grounded.

During those chaotic times, I made an effort to suppress my self-pride when speaking on the Changes podcast.

Even though you have the freedom to bend or break rules, there are many individuals who would likely turn a blind eye to your actions, up to and including allowing you to go unpunished for committing a serious crime like murder.

Zoe was incredibly beneficial to me in that situation, as she was well-versed in the world of fame and we could keep tabs on one another, so to speak.

If I weren’t considerate towards people, she might say something like: ‘Hey, cut it out! That’s not our way. Apologize and thank them instead.’

We both managed to keep our ambitions balanced by checking each other, as it can be tricky when others are constantly encouraging with offers like: ‘Here, try this, accept this, drink this, you’re amazing.’

It can be challenging to maintain boundaries and assert, “I am merely human, not a celebrity.” I believe we managed to avoid a great deal of inconvenience for both of us.

Two years past their separation, Norman mentioned that he was still healing from the emotional scars left by Zoe on his heart in the year 2016.

Back then, I, a devoted admirer, found myself grappling with the news that Zoe was in a relationship with Michael Reed. The charismatic DJ had made it clear that he wasn’t ready for romance, stating his heart wasn’t prepared yet to embark on a new journey of love.

‘I’m single, I’m definitely not on Tinder,’ he told the Daily Star at the time.

18 years have passed since I last found myself in a similar predicament, and I must admit that I’ve grown rusty on the rules. The truth is, my heart hasn’t fully healed yet, it’s still tender.

In the year 1997, Norman and Zoe’s romantic journey started when they crossed paths in Ibiza. Exactly two years after that chance encounter, they exchanged vows at Babington House located in Somerset.

In 2003, they temporarily separated after news broke that she was involved romantically with one of her husband’s close friends, DJ Dan Peppe.

After the disclosure, Norman expressed that he continued to love Zoe and was willing to reconcile with her, on the condition that she vowed not to have any further contact with Peppe.

In his own words, the songwriter who is known for hits admitted then: “I continue to have feelings for her. If one loves someone, they will grant forgiveness.

‘I’ve spoken to her today and she is genuinely remorseful.’

In September 2016, they officially ended their relationship, which followed approximately nine months after Zoe was spotted with singer Tay Tay Starhz, age 22, at the end-of-year wrap party for Strictly Come Dancing’s BBC2 sister show It Takes Two in December 2015.

In a shared declaration, they expressed with deep regret that they have chosen to part ways.

After her divorce from Fatboy Slem, Zoe rediscovered love with her partner Billy Yates. Tragically, Billy passed away in May 2017.

Following a prolonged struggle against depression, Billy, aged 40, tragically ended his life at his residence in Putney, London, during May of 2017.

Earlier, the Radio 2 host expressed her feelings of deep gratitude when he bid farewell during their last encounter.
