ZiMAD has revealed a fun partnership between their puzzle game, Magic Jigsaw Puzzles, and ZeptoLab‘s popular game Cut the Rope, featuring the well-known character Om Nom. This special event, called Nomstalgia, is available now and will run until the end of 2025, offering fans limited-time puzzle packs.

You can relive early 2010s mobile gaming nostalgia with these limited-time puzzle packs

As a gamer, I’m super excited about this! It’s awesome to see these two games team up – it really brings back memories of when mobile gaming was taking off in the early 2010s. I can jump into some limited-time puzzle packs in Magic Jigsaw Puzzles, and it’s a really chill way to enjoy some nostalgic gameplay. It honestly feels like a celebration of the good old days when app stores were full of amazing new stuff! This is blending nostalgia with cozy new gameplay and it’s available until the end of the year.

If you’re unfamiliar with Cut the Rope, it’s a puzzle game series based on physics created by ZeptoLabs, originally released in 2010. The game became popular quickly because it’s enjoyable to play-you have to get candy to a small, green character named Om Nom, and you can collect stars as you do so.

Players can now dive into Om Nom Adventures and Happy B-Day, Om Nom packs

The initial two themed packs, Om Nom Adventures and Happy B-Day, Om Nom, are now available in Magic Jigsaw Puzzles. I used to enjoy playing Cut the Rope on my brother’s phone, and this collaboration is inspiring me to try it again. It seems like they’ve achieved their aim of attracting players who have enjoyed the game for a long time.

What’s really exciting is that these two packs are only the beginning – more are scheduled to be released this fall and winter. According to Elizaveta Savenkova, CBDO at ZiMAD, “With the imaginative idea behind Nomstalgia, each puzzle is like a cherished memory, reminding us of the fun and iconic moments from the early 2010s.
