Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.2 begins with story development, characters, and gameplay

After the Exaltists lost the last battle, the Defense Force sent the Obol Squad to help resolve the continuous disputes in New Eridu. Now, you’ll encounter fresh agents with distinctive fighting techniques and abilities joining your squad.

Under the guidance of Major General Lorenz and Colonel Isolde, the role of the Obol Squad significantly escalates tensions over power on Waifei Peninsula, a new addition introduced in Version 2.0 update. This situation presents an opportunity for you to unearth buried secrets and delve into the enigmatic past of Seed and the obscure depths of its inner world.

Version 2.2 of Zenless Zone Zero introduces two exceptionally strong, top-tier operatives and a comeback for two beloved characters from the community’s favorite roster.

1. Seed

A top-tier Electric Assault Character named Seed, when employed, converts the Seed Sr. mech into a formidable force, boasting an impressive arsenal for sheer firepower and control. She performs optimally in tandem with other Attack agents, amplifying consistent damage output within your team.

2. Orphie & Magus

Together with her is Orphie & Magus, a top-tier Fire Attack Agent, serving as the captain of Obol Squad. They are particularly skilled in synchronized combat using their potent laser beams.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled about her EX Special Attack! By building up Bottled Heat, not only can I aid my allies, but I can also put everyone in the Zeroed In state, amplifying our Attack power and enabling Aftershocks to bypass a portion of the enemies’ Defense.

3. Mercury

As a gamer, I’m excited to say that I’ll be teaming up with Mercury, an elite Bangboo S-Rank tank operator, who’s joining the battlefield in this update. Plus, for Version 2.2, fan-beloved characters like Trigger, the electric stun S-Rank Agent, and the fiery attack S-Rank Agent, Evelyn, are making a comeback!

In the forthcoming Version 2.2 release, you’ll also enjoy participating in intriguing in-game events, including the “Band of Brave Bangboo” tower defense event that introduces fresh maps, adversaries, and novel elements like bushes and Miasmic settings.

To earn the top-tier A-Rank “Excaliboo”, a versatile warrior from Bangboo, you must progress through various stages. Excaliboo can either wield a sacred sword or hammer, based on his pre-attack action’s outcome. For example, if he successfully draws the holy sword, he unleashes powerful sword strikes; otherwise, he delivers resilient hammer attacks with determination.

In addition to the current event, the game will offer you a more lively, music-oriented experience with the introduction of the Rhythm Rave event. Here, you’ll be tasked with matching beats to popular tracks in order to collect generous rewards.
