Zendaya’s Beach Photoshoot Reveals Sweet Tattoo Tribute to Tom Holland

Regarding Zendaya and Tom Holland’s relationship, they generally prefer to keep things under wraps. Occasionally, though, we get a glimpse or hint of their heartwarming love tale. Recently, the actress from Challengers gave us a peek by displaying her small “t” tattoo in a swimsuit photoshoot, potentially referencing Tom’s initial.

To celebrate Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami’s collaboration, Zendaya starred in a beachy campaign. It featured her in a cherry one-piece swimsuit (as you can see in WWD’s post about it), her wearing a gorgeous white dress while leaning against a large cherry and holding a cherry purse, her sitting on a bike wearing white shorts and blue striped top, and, most importantly in this case, an image of her holding a cherry while wearing a small cerry backpack, white bottoms and a matching white bikini stop.

Among all the adorable images, the one I pointed out (the second one in the series) is my personal favorite because it cleverly references Tom Holland. This is evident as there’s a small “t” tattoo visible near the band of the actress from ‘Dune’s top, just below her armpit.

The duo visited Boston Tattoo Co.’s Newbury Street branch in Boston and chose to have matching ink – Zendaya opted for a “t” and Holland went with a “z.” According to the San Francisco Chronicle, this event transpired at their shop. The proprietor, Jason Zube, verified that they both visited together and were friendly towards everyone. Moreover, he mentioned that much like their tiny tattoos, the couple was quite unassuming during their visit.

Actually, this photoshoot could potentially give us a clearer view of the tattoo, but it’s not the initial appearance we’ve witnessed. We’ve already caught glimpses of it before.

Just before the 2025 Golden Globes, Zendaya made an appearance on the red carpet and showed off her engagement ring. But it wasn’t just the ring that caught people’s attention; they also noticed a tiny “t” tattoo peeking out from under her arm, as reported by People. Now, this special tattoo, a token of her love for her fiancé, is once again in the spotlight, thanks to this stylish display on the red carpet. The tattoo is now more visible than ever!

In summary, since the stars of Spider-Man tend to keep their personal lives private, any hints or nods towards their romantic storyline make me swoon with delight. From the initial ring appearance and Holland’s father confirming their engagement, to this image revealing the “t” tattoo, we occasionally get these special moments scattered throughout.

As a dedicated cinephile, I must admit that the possibility of catching a glimpse of Zendaya’s wedding attire remains an unfulfilled dream. Yet, I hold immense respect and admiration for their unwavering commitment to privacy in their relationship. Nevertheless, any tiny peek into their loving bond is something I cherish deeply.

It’s likely that with the couple collaborating on Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, their joint project might bring some public sightings or adorable anecdotes about them reuniting at work. If I dare to hope more, perhaps they’ll share stories behind their matching tattoos.
