Zendaya slips into one of Cate Blanchett’s gowns for her ‘something borrowed’ look as she continues bridal method dressing for The Drama

For the publicity tour of her new movie, ‘The Drama,’ which is about weddings, she plans to follow the traditional rhyme and wear an item that’s old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.

Zendaya, known for her stylish outfits, once again impressed on Thursday night by borrowing a look from her friend and fellow actress, Cate Blanchett.

The 29-year-old actress stunned in a gorgeous Giorgio Armani Privé gown – originally created for Cate, 56 – at the Rome premiere.

The gown, a sleek silk column dress cut low to the waist, hugged her curves. Dark onyx stones around the neckline sparkled in the light.

Cate Blanchett has worn this particular gown on two occasions: at the 2022 SAG Awards and again at the Venice Film Festival last August.

Zendaya perfectly recreated the look, even matching Cate’s accessories from the Venice Film Festival with stunning diamond earrings and a statement ring.

However, there was one difference: Zendaya was also wearing a delicate gold ring she’s been seen with lately.

A simple gold wedding band has sparked a lot of excitement lately. Fans are wondering if Zendaya has secretly married Tom Holland, or if she’s simply wearing it as part of her character’s style for her new play, ‘The Drama’.

Zendaya chose to wear a familiar dress to the premiere of her latest film – the same custom Vivienne Westwood gown she originally wore to the 2015 Oscars.

The beautiful, floor-length satin dress featured a fitted bodice and a delicate tulle overlay that cascaded down the back.

She explained to Variety that the dress was a sentimental piece she’d chosen to wear as her ‘something old.’ She loved the idea of giving it a new purpose and cherished its meaning to her.

She continued: ‘And it also happens to be a wedding dress, so that works!’

Zendaya wore a stunning, one-of-a-kind Louis Vuitton gown to the Paris premiere on Tuesday.

The bridal white backless gown fitted her frame and featured a large black bow on the back.

Zendaya has a history of drawing inspiration from her roles when choosing red carpet outfits, a practice she began with the 2017 film The Greatest Showman.

However, this time, all of her outfits were completed with her gold wedding ring, fueling continued rumors about whether she is married.

Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, first sparked the wedding speculation. He jokingly told Access Hollywood at last month’s awards show that the wedding had already taken place, and everyone had missed it.

When asked if that was ‘true,’ Roach replied: ‘It’s very true!’

Although their representatives haven’t officially confirmed the news, the couple has generally preferred to keep their relationship private.

Zendaya hasn’t publicly addressed the rumors, but she seems to be playfully acknowledging them during interviews for her new film.

She strongly suggested she’s married after being asked about the secrets to a perfect marriage during an interview with Views France, alongside her co-star Robert Pattinson.

Zendaya shared that she doesn’t believe in perfect marriages, but thinks the strongest couples seem to be genuinely close, like best friends. She admitted it’s a bit of a cliché, but that’s what she’s observed.
