Zendaya Looks Distressed Filming Euphoria’s Final Season in LA
This week, Zendaya was seen on the Euphoria filming location in California, seamlessly reprising her complex persona as Rue, a troubled character.
28-year-old actress, whose fashion choice at the recent Met Gala sparked controversy, seemed upset while being photographed as she left a convenience shop in Los Angeles’ South Gate area.
On Mondays shoot, the makeup-free celebrity opted for an orange tank top paired with a roomy shirt sporting palm trees as its pattern.
She included a set of dark blue shorts, striped green and white socks, and slippers adorned with fur, all in a warm brown hue.
Born in Oakland, she had flowing, chestnut-hued locks dancing with the breeze, while her face wrinkled up in annoyance.
In late April, she was filmed shooting a scene alongside her fellow actors Alexa Demie and Sydney Sweeney.

This year, it became known that Sharon Stone will be part of the third season’s cast for Sam Levinson’s teen drama.
She became part of a well-known circle that includes the renowned Spanish singer Rosalía, NFL champion Marshawn Lynch, and actor Kadeem Hardison from A Different World.
Previous two seasons of the A24-produced HBO series featured Hunter Schafer, Maude Apatow, Jacob Elordi, the sadly departed Angus Cloud, Barbie Ferreira, and Dominic Fike in their cast.
Last fall Zendaya confirmed that the final season will see a time jump that ages the characters.
She expressed during an interview on The Awardist podcast from Entertainment Weekly that it’s crucial due to the limited amount of high school-related dramas one can handle.
She openly acknowledged that she isn’t well-versed in the current developments, given her position as an executive producer. To be honest, I’m not entirely sure how the upcoming season will unfold, but I can confirm that a time leap is part of the plan.
The actress portraying Rue, the character who is a queer teen dealing with drug issues in high school, showed equal enthusiasm as her fans when she found out about future developments involving the young adult characters.
As a lifestyle aficionado, I can’t help but express my curiosity about exploring these characters beyond their high school years and delving into how their experiences during those formative times shape their adult lives and transform them into the individuals they are in this vast, global landscape.
‘I’ll be interested to see what happens too,’ she stated.

In August 2023, Levinson gave a glimpse into the forthcoming sequel during an interview with Elle magazine.
The director provided some enlightening details about how Zendaya’s character, Rue, will develop throughout the upcoming season. He explained that her storyline will delve into understanding what it takes to uphold values in a morally compromised society.
He noted that he envisions the show leaning into ‘film noir.’
Levinson also praised Zendaya’s work ethic and her dedication to pushing herself as a performer.
He mentioned that she’s incredibly driven, with a healthy sense of competition. Her artistic growth is consistent, and she’s always on the lookout for new challenges. She never rests on her laurels.
