Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players find new, risky Master Sword glitch
As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the community’s spirit of exploration and innovation never ceases to amaze me. The latest feat achieved by some daring souls within the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom community is nothing short of breathtaking.
In the eyes of some dedicated gamers, video games are designed to be challenged – or even ‘broken’. Given the expansive nature of a game like ‘The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom‘, there’s ample opportunity for this. Players often make use of bugs (glitches) to expedite challenges or modify aspects within the game, such as duplicating crucial items. Among the most vital items in ‘Tears of the Kingdom‘ is arguably the Master Sword.
As a longtime Legend of Zelda fan with countless hours spent exploring Hyrule, I can attest to the sheer excitement that surrounds discovering new ways to interact with the game’s world and its iconic items. The recent revelation of how players can obtain an unbreakable version of the Master Sword in “Tears of the Kingdom” is no exception.
Timing is really important, too. Players have to be precise with your button inputs, on top of being patient. The moves ultimately lead Link outside the confines of the Hyrule map to land right to Ganondorf beneath Hyrule castle. At this point, there’s a step that could go wrong, forcing you back to step three. Yikes! (A good place to note: Players should do this at their own risk, as they could lose their save file.)
In the game Tears of Kingdom, if players manage to perform a series of clever tricks or bugs in the right order, they can find a Master Sword with the label “MsgNotFound”. This is actually the unbreakable Master Sword from the prologue. Players have discovered this method before, but it involves some tricky (though not overly complex) glitches that Nintendo has already fixed. However, there’s a possibility that Nintendo could make this method ineffective as well.
