Zeekr, a high-end electric car company that’s been growing in Europe, recently showcased its vehicles at Milan Design Week. They were the official automotive partner for Alcova and also returned to Tortona Rocks with a second showing of their exhibition, The Art of Connection.
Zeekr partnered with Alcova to provide transportation for around 7,000 visitors between Villa Pestarini and the former Military Hospital of Baggio. They used a variety of their luxury vehicles, including the Zeekr X crossover, Zeekr 001 shooting brake, and Zeekr 7X SUV.
This service did more than just offer transportation; it integrated Zeekr into a larger design network. By connecting people with design exhibits and displays, it gave them firsthand access to the latest innovations, including a special partnership between Patricia Urquiola and Haworth & Cassina.

The “Art of Connection” exhibition in Tortona highlighted the Zeekr 7GT, a new all-electric vehicle. This sleek, low-slung shooting brake combines powerful performance with practical everyday use. The exhibit, marking the car’s Italian debut, showcased its design process, led by Stefan Sielaff, from initial sketches and clay models to the final vehicle developed at Zeekr’s design center in Gothenburg. Set against the backdrop of Milan Design Week, the Zeekr 7GT was presented as a result of combining innovative design, advanced technology, and a focus on the user experience.
I also really loved seeing the work from EJTECH – they’re an amazing artist duo! And the exhibition had this cool café area too, which was perfect for chatting with other people who were into the same things. It felt like a real hub for creatives to connect and hang out.
