As a dedicated follower of these celebrities, I must say that it’s quite a mixed bag of emotions watching Zara McDermott and Sam Thompson navigate their careers and personal lives.

Zara McDermott won’t accompany Sam Thompson on his trip to Australia for the I’m A Celebrity aftershow, as she kicks off shooting her new BBC documentary focusing on Stalking instead.

The reality TV personality, aged 27, delves into the effects of stalking across two real-time recorded episodes, which means she must stay reachable around the clock and unfortunately cannot make a trip to Australia.

Last year, she couldn’t go with her longtime boyfriend after he won the competition, as she was participating in Strictly Come Dancing alongside Graziano Di Prima, who is now under scrutiny.

Sam told TopMob, ‘I’m unsure if Zara will make an appearance, that’s a great query. It’s possible, especially if she’s not working. She’s fantastic, and it would be delightful if we could catch a glimpse of her.’

Zara McDermott starts filming tomorrow, where she’ll interact and spend time with individuals experiencing such behavior, aiming to understand how stalking impacts their lives.

Next year’s Strictly Come Dancing contestant will also share their experience of reporting stalking to the authorities, including insights on navigating the legal system as a victim.

On BBC Three, Zara has established a niche for herself, and her work encompasses topics such as Disordered Eating, Revenge Porn, and Exploring Rape Culture.

When discussing her recent documentary, Zara shared: ‘Myself, along with many others, am acquainted with individuals who have experienced stalking. I am deeply interested in understanding the true consequences of stalking on people’s lives, particularly the stress, fear, and ordeal they face when reporting such crimes to the authorities.’

On Sunday, Sam touched down in Australia, having secured his desired position as co-host for the fresh take of I’m A Celebrity, titled Unpacked, alongside Joel Dommett and Kemi Rogers.

For the time being, he continues to rule as the undisputed King of the Jungle. However, this year’s series saw the arrival of Danny Jones from McFly and Alan Halsall from Coronation Street on Sunday, both aiming to dethrone him and claim the crown for themselves.

17,000 kilometers above ground, Sam didn’t forget to watch Pete Wicks’ captivating dance on Strictly Come Dancing from the previous night, a performance dedicated to his deceased grandmother.

In the approaching days, Pete Wicks’ partner, Maura Higgins, is expected to touch down at Brisbane Airport, with rumors suggesting she will participate in this year’s edition of “I’m A Celebrity.

The evening prior to Sam’s over 20-hour journey to Australia, he posted a video featuring him chatting with Zara while they were both in bed, discussing his impending trip.

He expressed his joy that his new position would allow him to forge a close friendship with Ant and Dec.

She playfully pointed out to him that it was merely a spin-off series, implying he wouldn’t collaborate with the Geordie duo on this project.

After the main show and a brief recap by Ant and Dec, there’ll be an additional segment called “I’m A Celebrity: Behind the Scenes” or simply “I’m A Celebrity Unveiled,” where we delve deeper into the camp life, uncover interesting facts, and share untold stories from the jungle.

In my role as your trusted lifestyle guide, I’m thrilled to share that we have some exciting guests joining us today! They’ll be sharing their insights on today’s episode, and they’ll also spill some exclusive behind-the-scenes secrets, courtesy of our charismatic host, Joel Dommett. You might remember him from the companion show Extra, which wrapped up in 2020. So, get ready to dive deeper into the world of entertainment!

During the early stages of the pandemic, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here briefly moved to Wales. In its absence, Extra Camp was temporarily replaced with The Daily Drop, hosted by Vick Hope. However, this was discontinued in 2021 and no replacement show followed until now.
