Zara McDermott Sparks Rumors of Boyband Romance After Split

Fans of Zara McDermott are speculating that she may be in a relationship with a well-known member of a popular boy band, following her unexpected breakup with Sam Thompson.

According to TopMob, Sam and Zara parted ways in December following a five-year relationship. Not long after, the ex-Strictly dancer announced she had relocated from their shared home in Chelsea.

Currently, it’s being discussed that Zara, aged 28, might be dating the ex-member of One Direction and singer, Louis Tomlinson, who is 33 years old.

On Reddit, many people speculate, without concrete evidence, that Louis might be dating Zara due to the fact they both follow each other on Instagram. Noteworthy, Louis only follows 336 accounts, and Zara happens to be one of them.

Additionally, it is asserted that Louis’s siblings, such as makeup artist Lottie Tomlinson, along with the twins Daisy and Phoebe, are also followers of Zara.

A Reddit user commented: ‘There are many whispers suggesting that Louis might be dating Zara McDermott.’

They have recently begun mutual following on Instagram. Not only does she follow all of his siblings, but they reciprocate the gesture by also following her.

One person mentioned: ‘Today, Louis is performing a concert in London. I’m keeping an eye out for Zara attending the event, or posting about it on her stories.’

Some other fans had doubts, suggesting instead that the meeting might be related to her work on a forthcoming documentary featuring his sisters.

They wrote: ‘I’ve even picked up whispers suggesting she might be involved in the anticipated series the twins are aiming to produce. Let’s hope the news is accurate and it centers around that.’

“It seems like numerous individuals are claiming they’re dating, merely because he chose to follow them. Frankly, it strikes me as peculiar. I’d wager he follows a multitude of people, not just them.

A representative for Zara has been contacted by TopMob for comment.  

At the BRIT Awards earlier this month, Zara and Lucien Laviscount sparked rumors when they were seen being affectionate at the high-profile musical event.

At the entire event, recently solo Zara found herself sitting next to the charming character from Emily in Paris, and she reveled in the affection he bestowed upon her throughout.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I can confidently share that last night, Lucien was subtly expressing his interest. We found him engaging in lively conversations, sharing hushed words in her ear, and gracefully moving across the dance floor with her by his side.

It was evident that he had strong feelings for her, as Zara appeared to be delighted by his presence, constantly grinning and chuckling.

Caught off guard, I found myself sitting mere steps from my past, Sam, at a distance so close it felt like an episode of Love Island. Across the room, the radiant beauty, her face glowing in a breathtaking white gown adorned with feathers and a daring thigh-high split, was turning heads.

He sat down for an exclusive chat on Hits radio, accompanied by his close friend Pete Wicks, ex-Love Island contestant Olivia Attwood, and actress Gemma Atkinson.

However, it was just Lucien, at the age of 32, who caught Zara’s attention, as he stood out in a striking all-white outfit that harmoniously complemented Zara’s own white dress.

The couple was additionally captured dancing along to Sabrina Carpenter’s suggestive performance before the watershed, which featured the singer in lingerie and kneeling before a ‘King’s Guard’. According to TopMob, it’s been disclosed that the I’m A Celebrity winner swiftly continued walking the red carpet without pausing and refrained from engaging with the media.

Meanwhile, Sam was having a difficult night, as Pete Wicks shared with TopMob, during a conversation with Olivia Attwood.

Previously known TOWIE celebrity expressed: “He’s not physically absent; in fact, he’s nearby. However, it’s challenging for him tonight because I’ve developed a professional partner, which Sam finds difficult to adjust to slightly.

Olivia stated: “Earlier, Sam grabbed me and mentioned, ‘Tonight, Liv, I’ll be with you – just wanted to let you know.’ To which I replied, ‘I had already expected as much.'” (Or simply, “Olivia said, ‘Sam earlier told me he would be with me tonight, and I had already anticipated that.'”)

He jokingly added: ‘Yes it does, nicely done Liv. Because I’ve never done that.’

Shortly following Sam’s departure, Zara elegantly arrived, captivating everyone with her breathtaking appearance in a white dress featuring an impressive slit up to her thigh.
