Summary
- For their fourth collection, released today, Zara Home and Vincent Van Duysen offer a new modular seating system, sleek chrome accents, and ethereal textiles.
Zara Home maintains its lasting collaboration with the esteemed Belgian architect and designer Vincent Van Duysen, providing minimalist yet impactful designs for the household, including furniture like seating, cabinets, lighting fixtures, and ornamental pieces.
In Van Duysen’s work, open and light interiors with muted color schemes are common. However, his use of warm, inviting materials and traditional design elements creates a welcoming, familiar ambiance. The retailer’s Spanish home collection, characterized by straightforward modern designs and natural materials, harmoniously aligns with its minimalist philosophy.
In the collection, Sofa Model 02 stands out as the star piece, boasting a modular design for endless arrangements, complete with supple leather upholstery and a sturdy oak frame. Meanwhile, Daybed Model 02 features a sleek leather exterior and chrome accents, while Lounge Chair Model 03 adds a touch of nature with its dark wood legs.
At the more robust end of the scale, Side Table 05 showcases a design inspired by beams, crafted from gleaming chrome steel panels. Similarly, the eye-catching Lamp 03 employs polished metal in a sculptural form, boasting a curved metal exterior.
The decorative rug, White Rug 04, showcases patches of textured wool that mimic a broken texture, while Object 06 adds a unique, heartfelt touch to the series, symbolizing a tribute to the designer’s cherished pets, Vincent Van Duysen’s dogs.
The fourth Zara Home x Vincent Van Duysen collection is available now at the Zara Home web store.
