Zamna Sends Waves Across Tulum With Biggest Festival Season Yet

Zamna, a culture and hospitality group, recently finished its 2026 festival in Tulum, Mexico. The 12-day event featured popular electronic music artists like David Guetta and Keinemusik, alongside new performers such as Black Coffee and Rüfüs Du Sol, making it Zamna’s largest and most ambitious festival yet.

Over the past few years, Zamna has become firmly established in its 11-hectare jungle location, and this year’s event celebrated the surrounding Mayan culture through incredible production. The first night of the festival ended the year with a vibrant, exotic theme and a headlining set from MRAK, founder of Afterlife. Later in the event, the Mexican artist collective Mayan Warrior performed against a backdrop of tribal-inspired designs, combining deep electronic music with stunning light displays.

The festival celebrated Tulum’s unique culture with 10 different events, drawing in 120,000 visitors who were eager to experience its blend of music and beautiful surroundings. The event also significantly boosted the local economy, with hotels reaching 90% occupancy and bars, restaurants, and clubs fully booked for two weeks.

The music group is continuing its success by launching “Tulum All Year Round,” a new organization dedicated to promoting tourism. Following the success of attracting visitors from over 100 countries to their events, this initiative will offer a year-round schedule of activities for both residents and tourists. Planned events include art shows, wellness getaways, unique dining experiences, high-end travel options, and, of course, more music events and festivals.

Zamna’s founders recently announced that Tulum is aiming to redefine tourism, focusing on inclusivity, local culture, and environmental sustainability. They described a new initiative not just as a financial tool, but as a collaborative effort to shape the future of the city.
