As a lifestyle expert with over three decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the Australian 2024 Women in Music Awards was a night to remember! The red carpet was brimming with talent, style, and empowerment, and it was an absolute pleasure to witness such a celebration of womanhood.
On a Wednesday, Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane played host to Yumi Stynes as she graced the event of the 2024 Australian Women in Music Awards.
The 49-year-old feminist writer seemed to enjoy herself immensely while taking photos next to Australian singer Sarah McLeod.
Instead of choosing a rocker style, the podcast host selected an outfit that embodied a rocker aesthetic, donning a sleek, strapless black dress paired with black tights and robust footwear.
In her customary red lipstick, Yumi poked out her tongue playfully towards the camera, adding a touch of style with black sunglasses.
In a bold fashion move, I recently found myself embracing the trendy look of a sleek black crop top paired with stylish leather pants. To complete the outfit, I slipped into a sophisticated pair of black loafers and added a touch of edge with a chic chain belt cinched around my waist. Age is just a number, after all!
For the special event, the guitarist from The Superjesus opted for a stylish, smoky-eyed makeup with a vibrant cherry lipstick.
Meanwhile, the renowned Australian country musician Kasey Chambers beamed with joy upon her arrival, donning a rustic, brown overcoat.
48-year-old artist, famously known for the hit “Am I Not Pretty Enough,” donned a striking black jacket, keeping the rest of his attire minimal with a plain black shirt and trousers beneath it, showcasing the jacket’s impact.

Her brown hair, straight as a ruler, cascaded beyond her shoulders, sparkling with golden highlights under the lights, much like gold tinsel.
The ARIA Award winner took home the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Soprano singer Nina Korbe stole the show when she stepped out in a very glamorous red velvet gown.
At the music event, Karen Lee Andrews, who used to go by Ms. Murphy, chose to wear a stylish black coat adorned with gold buttons.
28-year-old blues artist Emily Wurramara donned a layered black gown, accentuated with a matching belt around her midriff, and completed the look with cowboy footwear.
Katie Noonan, 47, put on a sparkling display in a black sequinned dress with flashy gold boots.
