YouTuber Adam the Woo dead at age 51

Adam the Woo, a popular YouTuber, has died at his home in Orlando, Florida. He was 51 years old, officials confirmed.

On Monday afternoon around 12:30 p.m., Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies went to the Florida home of the online personality near Orlando to check on their welfare, according to a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office who spoke with TMZ.

According to a spokesperson, officers couldn’t reach the YouTube star, Adam Williams, when they tried.

Officials said deputies returned to the house around 2:50 p.m., more than two hours after a report of an unattended death was made.

According to reports, a friend concerned about Adam checked on him by climbing a ladder to peek through a window and found him lying still and not responding.

The friend had made contact with Adam the day before, according to authorities.  

When we arrived at the house, the deputies and fire rescue team went inside. Sadly, after they checked on him, they pronounced Adam deceased at the scene. It’s always a heartbreaking situation, and our thoughts go out to everyone involved.

The cause of death wasn’t immediately known, and the medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine it, according to reports.

Officials said they told Adam’s father about his passing, the outlet reported. 

Adam had more than 407,000 followers on his YouTube account, and another 85,000 on Instagram.

In a YouTube bio, Adam described the activities he documented online.

He described himself as an adventurer, exploring all sorts of places – from forgotten amusement parks and film sets to quirky, unusual roadside stops.

Adam, a self-described fan of 1980s pop culture, explained that he doesn’t try to be overly serious in his videos or with his online persona.
