YouTube star’s cause of death revealed after passing away unexpectedly at 26
Approximately three months after his untimely demise in Los Angeles, the cause of YouTube sensation P2istheName’s passing has finally been disclosed when he was only 26 years old.
On Tuesday, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner disclosed the streaming personality passed away from natural causes on March 14th.
P2istheName (real name: Philip Enewally) was said to have died of ‘sudden cardiac dysfunction.’
The Medical Examiner identified ‘isolated thickening of the papillary muscle’ as the reason for his unexpected heart attack. Moreover, they mentioned that this condition falls under a specific category known as ‘hypertrophic subtype of cardiomyopathy,’ which increases the likelihood of a sudden, fatal heart incident.
P2istheName was discovered in the mail room of his apartment building after collapsing.
As stated in the announcement, the paramedics who arrived on scene couldn’t manage to revive him and declared the YouTube personality deceased at 3:11 p.m. Pacific Time.
Unexpected heart malfunction, often referred to as sudden cardiac collapse, is a frequent reason for deaths globally.
Following the guidelines from the Mayo Clinic, I’ve learned that a condition known as Sudden Cardiac Arrest happens when my heart suddenly stops functioning due to an abnormal heart rhythm.
Individuals with this condition may cease to breathe and lapse into an unresponsive state, a situation that can rapidly turn fatal.
In such situations, quickly administering Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or using an automated external defibrillator to deliver a shock to the heart might help in saving the individual’s life.
The latest statement on the YouTuber’s passing doesn’t specify whether drugs or alcohol were involved, as no signs of such substances were found at the time of his demise.
As a diligent follower, I eagerly await the day when the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner will disclose comprehensive details regarding P2isTheName’s passing, yet no specific timeline has been set for its release.
After hearing the shocking news about P2istheName’s passing, fellow YouTube personality COLETHEMAN honored Enewally on social platforms, recalling him as a gracious companion.
My dear friend, P2istheName, sadly passed away… I’m left speechless. He was consistently thoughtful towards me, offering valuable guidance for my content creation. May his soul find peace. This is a heavy blow to my heart,” the post read on Twitter.
P2istheName’s last YouTube video was uploaded about two weeks ago.
In a previous post, he mentioned plans to move from Los Angeles to Atlanta.
Notably, he also found success outside of YouTube with his clothing brand, DontMindUs.
Several of his videos showcased him personally packaging and shipping out merchandise to fans.
In several of his last videos filmed in Los Angeles, he often visited post offices and delivery services, as he had completely run out of stock for everything he had on offer.
Enewally gained a massive following through his NBA 2K and Fortnite gaming videos.
He later expanded into broader gaming content, including Let’s Play walkthroughs.
Additionally, the star provided insights into his personal life for his 4 million followers, showcasing content such as a video tour revealing what it’s like to be a young, affluent African-American resident in Los Angeles.
As a devoted admirer, I’ve noticed that his typical videos garner views ranging from 20,000 to 60,000, but there have been instances where a single video of his drew in millions of viewers.
Over the past few months, I’ve found myself being more open and vulnerable on my YouTube channel, discussing feelings of being adrift. I’ve spoken candidly about the challenges I’m facing, such as decreasing viewership numbers and doubts regarding the future direction of my content creation.
