Well, well, well! If I’m not mistaken, that’s Penn Badgley showing off his new buzzcut. The man who played Joe Goldberg for five seasons is now as bald as a cue ball!
I remember when he first came on the scene with that luscious locks of his. Now, it seems like he’s trying to outdo Joe Goldberg in the “less hair” department.
“You see how Penn wraps his last day on set? Very demure. Very mindful,” he wrote in the caption.
Oh, please! The man was playing a romantic icon for five seasons. I bet he didn’t even need to act when it came to being “mindful.”
“Making the show alongside our writers, producers, directors, cast and crew has been an honour and ridiculously fun,” Gamble said at the time. “I feel lucky to have worked with an artist as gifted and thoughtful as Penn Badgley.”
Yeah, she’s not wrong. Who else can make a buzzcut look good?
Meanwhile, fellow You actor Lukas Gage has landed his next role, in the comedic thriller Full Throttle Mindset. It will follow a man who gets a job at a tanning salon, only to discover it’s a front for a drug empire.

You actor Penn Badgley has unveiled a new shaved hairstyle.
Over the weekend during the women’s final at the U.S. Open, the actor who plays Joe Goldberg unveiled a short, close-cropped hairstyle (buzzcut), not long after wrapping up filming for the climactic episode of the popular Netflix show.
Last week, Badgley took to TikTok to reveal that he had filmed his last episode for the streaming service, sharing a video of himself in costume and referencing a recent social media trend.
“You see how Penn wraps his last day on set? Very demure. Very mindful,” he wrote in the caption.
He mentioned that during work hours, he doesn’t engage in much activity and prefers to stay attentive. In the video, he also said that after playing a romantic character for five seasons, he remains humble and mindful. As you can see, his shirt only reveals his shoulders, not his broad chest.
In the concluding fifth season, there will be a significant shift in the production team, as the original showrunner and creator, Sera Gamble, has chosen to step aside. Her roles will now be assumed by writers Michael Foley and Justin W Lo.
Speaking then, Gamble expressed that it was both an honor and a blast to create this show together with our writers, producers, directors, actors, and everyone else involved. I consider myself fortunate to have collaborated with an artist as talented and considerate as Penn Badgley.
