On Wednesday, Lucy Boynton exuded casual elegance while donning a striking yellow floral-patterned sweater, leaving the CBS Mornings studio in New York City.

In a stunning outfit choice, the 31-year-old actress donned an impressive dress, complemented by a fashionable, mid-length, suede skirt adorned with tassels in a rich brown hue.

Lucy stood tall, sporting a funky pair of bright yellow metal-coated heels, and added minimalistic elegance with a set of understated earrings.

With loose curls adorning her short, golden hair, the actress from Bohemian Rhapsody sported an elegant array of cosmetics, accentuated by a striking dash of crimson lipstick.

After my TV appearance, I found myself feeling quite upbeat and energized. As I took a moment to catch my breath, I happily obliged when fans asked for selfies with me, pausing to share the moment with them.

This afternoon, I was the center of attention when I showcased my latest dramatic series, “A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story,” at its Los Angeles premiere.

The actress channeled 90s cult hit Clueless as she stepped out in a stylish tweed co-ord.

She wore a stylish black and silver fitted tweed jacket adorned with a decorative pink trim running along the center and wrapping around the sleeves.

She paired her jacket with a mini skirt of the same color, showcasing her beautifully toned legs due to its short hemline that brushed against her thighs.

She enhanced the slim silhouette of her body by wearing black sock boots, and she adorned herself with minimalist silver jewelry.

Lucy completed her style by applying a bold, feline-inspired makeup and gathered her golden hair into an elegant bun.

At the event, the actress was accompanied by Bessie Carter, Kelly Jones, Kate Bartlett, and Antonia Gordon, her fellow actors.

The fresh series narrates a captivating tale about a nightclub manager, executed at age 28, following her fatal shooting of her abusive partner, David Blakely.

In the vibrant and alluring atmosphere of London’s nightclub scene in 1955, Ruth gained significant recognition as the city’s most youthful club manager. Regrettably, she became the final woman in the United Kingdom to face the punishment of hanging for her transgressions.

The four-part series is characterized as an engaging blend of legal and emotional ups and downs, inspired by the critically-acclaimed biography “A Fine Day for Hanging: The Authentic Ruth Ellis Tale” penned by Carol Ann Lee.

The storyline will detail Ruth’s experiences as a manager, her harrowing abusive relationship, her imprisonment, trial, and arduous battle for justice.

Upon initially seeing Lucy in the role of Ruth, Kate Bartlett, executive producer for Silverprint Pictures, remarked: “Lucy Boynton is strikingly captivating as Ruth Ellis, who is depicted here at the pinnacle of her achievement as London’s youngest nightclub manager.

At the age of 28, her rapid rise came to a sudden stop when she found herself in a passionate love entanglement that led to loss and sorrow.

Lucy mentioned that the story of Ruth Ellis is truly intriguing. It has consistently elicited strong emotions from people, herself included.

I’m excited to present Kelly Jones’s thought-provoking screenplays, which will offer a fresh viewpoint not only for longtime fans but also for those unfamiliar with her significant impact on British history.

Lucy split from actor Rami Malek early last year following more than five years together.

In the movie set for Bohemian Rhapsody, they crossed paths and began dating starting from 2017. Their relationship lasted until 2023, but it seems they drifted apart and chose separate paths based on reports.

Ever since Rami took a step back from the limelight, I can’t help but feel like a giddy schoolgirl, following his love life closely. It seems he’s swiftly found himself smitten with Emma Corrin, the charming lady I first spotted by his side at Bruce Springsteen’s mesmerizing performance at Hyde Park last summer.

Lucy is now with Murdo Mitchell, a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Glasgow.

In September 2023, their romantic relationship became public knowledge when they were spotted sharing affectionate moments like kissing and embracing while walking through the streets of London’s Soho district.

Lucy has played significant characters, including portraying ruthless teen Astrid Sloan alongside Gwyneth Paltrow in the Netflix show titled The Politician, which garnered attention for her performance.

The first episode of A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story will be released on February 17 on ITV.
