Paige DeSorbo recently announced that, following her split with Craig Conover, she plans to undergo egg freezing.

On the latest episode of her Giggly Squad podcast, shared with friend Hannah Berner, the 32-year-old Summer House celebrity discussed her plans for motherhood and future moves.

During the 53-minute interview, this versatile individual clarified that choosing to freeze her eggs is indeed a significant step, yet one she had always been confident about making this decision.

She admitted to her audience that during the previous year, around springtime, she had been contemplating egg-freezing, saying something like, “Yes, by 2025, I plan to freeze my eggs.

The Southern Charm actress revealed that January, with its pause in her tour calendar, seemed like the ideal moment for the egg retrieval procedure.

She mentioned, “I had a list of tasks I aimed to accomplish during January.” Therefore, achieving this was one of her objectives, and she booked her initial appointment.

Although fully dedicated to the process and already initiated, Paige expressed her uncertainty regarding the specific timing for scheduling the retrieval.

She mentioned that she needs to select two consecutive weeks when she’ll be at home, as she must administer the shots daily at the same time and believes they should be stored in a refrigerator.

Currently, the star from The Winter House is planning to freeze her eggs near the start of March, so as not to disrupt her and Hannah’s Giggly Squad tour schedule.

‘[I’ll] do the shots and the retrieval,’ Paige said candidly.

The celebrity openly expressed her desire for an insurance policy or contingency plan, should she decide to have children in the future, ensuring both comfort and security.

She confessed that when she initially chose to preserve her eggs, it wasn’t as if she was thinking, “Oh my goodness, it’s for my career.” Instead, she honestly believed at the age of 32, she would already have a child.

In the recesses of my mind, I often found myself contemplating, “What if I reach 39 or 40 and suddenly wish for one more [child]? That’s a thought I’ve always had in the back of my mind. So, that was essentially how I approached the decision to freeze my eggs.

Initially intending to freeze her eggs for various options in motherhood, the Bravo star mentioned that the route might change since her partner of three years, Craig, is no longer in the picture, making the path look ‘diverse’ instead.

She conceded, “Things have changed now. I feel the need for it, perhaps as a sense of safety, but at the same time, it gives me a small measure of comfort knowing I’m taking these actions.

In a podcast update toward the end of December, Paige announced that she and Craig (age 35) had chosen to part ways romantically. They initially became acquainted while filming Summer House on Bravo back in 2019, and their relationship blossomed during the summer of 2021.
