You Won’t Believe How Long Assassin’s Creed Shadows Takes to Beat

Ubisoft has provided information on when players worldwide can start pre-loading and playing Assassin’s Creed Shadows, along with an estimate of how long the game’s main campaign will last.

As per Game Director Jonathan Dumont (from Genki), it’s expected that completing the story in Shadows will take around 30 to 40 hours, but if you include side missions and additional activities, your playtime might extend to 80 hours or more. Additionally, there may be a New Game+ mode introduced post-launch.

Excitedly speaking as a fan, I can’t wait to dive into the ‘Claws of Awaji’ expansion! This addition promises an extra 10 hours of gameplay, ensuring there’s plenty of samurai/shinobi action to keep me busy. The pre-load for Xbox Series X|S has already started, and PC players can join in on March 17th. For my PlayStation friends, the fun begins on March 18th. Can’t wait to explore this new expansion together!

The game titled “Assassin’s Creed Shadows” is set to debut simultaneously on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC at exactly midnight, regardless of your timezone, on March 20th. For console users, you can refer to the map below for precise timings, but let us inform you that it’s indeed midnight everywhere.
