Julie Goodwin has debuted a fresh new look in her latest Instagram post.
The winner of the first season of MasterChef Australia from Down Under, now 54 years old, has given up hair coloring and lost weight. She recently revealed that she will be gracing the Moreton Bay Food & Wine Festival with her presence.
In this post, it is announced that the Australian cooking legend, Julien Goodwin (@_juliegoodwin), will share her charm, humor, and compassion at The Kitchen Stage, which is sponsored by @ausbuild.
‘She’ll serve up simple, soulful food that inspires the whole family to get cooking.’
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I can confidently say that when you join Julie’s cooking demonstrations, you’re not just getting a collection of family-friendly recipes; you’re diving into a heartfelt experience filled with warmth, genuine conversation, and a nostalgic reminder of what initially drew us to her all those years ago.

In the video, Julie chose to let her hair grow out its natural gray color instead of dyeing it, and she also displayed her weight loss that occurred after winning the cooking competition back in 2009.
The exceptional chef appeared thinner than before, motivating followers to join her at the Queensland food festival happening in August.
In the photo, Julie kept her distinctive wide-framed eyeglasses on, even with her new look, which included a pink sweater and coordinating pink earrings that hung elegantly.
One fan exclaimed, “You look fantastic!” Another commented, “Gosh, I think that’s Julie Goodwin – she seems to have shed some pounds!
1. Option A: “Wow, Julie, you’re looking fantastic!”
2. Option B: “Gosh, Julie, you just radiate beauty!”
3. Option C: “Julie, you’ve got a stunning presence today!”
4. Option D: “Julie, you’re really knocking them dead with your look!”
5. Option E: “Julie, you’re positively glowing!”
Each of these options conveys the same sentiment as the original phrases in a more natural and easy-to-read manner.
In 2012, Julie made a return to MasterChef as part of the MasterChef All Stars edition. Later in 2015, she participated in “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!” on Network Ten.
More recently, Julie appeared on the 2024 season of channel Seven hit Dancing with the Stars.
In the thrill of the series, they often dubbed me as a tantalizing fox, a spunky impish lady, and on some occasions, a commanding dominatrix. Quite a captivating moniker, wouldn’t you agree?

In a chat with Daily Mail Australia, I (as a starstruck fan) couldn’t help but ask about the incredible reaction to my transformation for that dance contest – and boy, did the MasterChef winner have some fascinating insights to share!
‘That was unexpected and unfamiliar,’ Julie laughed.
It amused my family greatly. Typically, I’m busy with cooking and taking care of my granddaughter, not finding myself rolling a handsome man across the floor.
She expressed her excitement, saying, “I was thrilled with the judges’ comments,” which meant it was pleasing to learn that she had performed the dance correctly.
In a surprising twist, Julie and Nova Peris, an Australian Olympian and ex-politician, were both eliminated from the competition in a round that left series enthusiasts disappointed.
Despite the fact that the well-known TV figure expressed it as if dancing after an injury was akin to victory, here’s another way to put it: To the TV personality, stepping onto the dance floor following an injury was similar to savoring triumph.
In simple terms, the famous chef needed only six days to heal from a severely painful calf muscle strain that occurred during the first week.
She mentioned that the incident significantly affected our training, and she was still very much processing it, as she referred to her performance that was broadcasted on Sunday.
While I was dancing, there was so much adrenaline coursing through me that I hardly noticed it, but the moment I stepped off the dance floor, I needed to apply an ice pack to it.
She expressed her joy when asked, saying, “I’m truly thrilled I managed to dance on the floor,” upon leaving the contest.
