As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share that when Guy Sebastian was embroiled in a tough legal dispute with his ex-manager, I found myself stunned to learn that his weight significantly dropped during those trying times.
This week, the artist who created “The Battle Scars” shared on the A Life of Greatness with Sarah Grynberg podcast that the tension from the legal battle had caused him to lose a significant amount of weight, using the phrase ‘he became alarmingly slender.’
He was deep in the heart of his most extensive tour yet, but surprisingly, he felt far from elated. Instead, he revealed that he weighed 67.5 kilograms.
‘Which is almost ten kilos less than what I normally weigh. I was rake thin.’
The 43-year-old pop star went on to explain the physical toll the legal war took on him.
He wasn’t getting much rest, as his eyes were swollen with dark circles. He stated that he was in a distressing situation, having just come from the witness stand.

To make it to my sound check on schedule for a meet-and-greet session, I arranged a flight. Afterward, I returned by airplane and provided testimony the following day.
‘So mentally going from one extreme to the next, survival mode.’
In November 2022, Titus Day, a previous manager of Guy’s, was imprisoned for a minimum term of two and a half years. This decision was made after a court trial during which he was declared guilty on 34 counts related to fraud. Among these charges were accusations that he misused over $620,000 in funds.
In my professional capacity as a lifestyle expert, I’m excited to share that after triumphantly overturning my beliefs on appeal last year, I find myself once again standing before the court this week, ready for a fresh trial.
The manager to the stars has continued to deny the allegations against him.
The individual expressed that he hadn’t yet dealt with the challenging circumstances and was finding the prospect of going back to court quite daunting.
‘It’s a really difficult process and I don’t even know what I can talk about’ he admitted.
It comes after Guy sensationally quit his high profile gig on The Voice Australia.

In October, the winner of Australian Idol made a long, surprising statement on Instagram, divided into multiple black-and-white posts.
‘I have some news to share with you all regarding my role as a Voice coach,’ he began.
‘I have made the decision to take a break from the best red chair on the planet.
For the past six fantastic years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching, and let me tell you, it’s been the most rewarding job I’ve ever had! There’s nothing but praiseworthy things to say about this show, and working alongside these incredible coaches has been an absolute joy.
Moving forward, Sebastian confessed that he was choosing to step back from the production to devote extra time to composing and stage performances.
He mentioned that at this moment, his primary emphasis should be on his main area of interest – composing and playing fresh tunes.
‘Currently, I’m working on organizing performances not just in Australia, but around the globe. I can hardly wait to meet everyone and share those experiences together!’
