There are only a few days remaining until “Miller’s Girl,” the erotic thriller starring Jenna Ortega, is no longer available on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland. Hurry up and watch it before it disappears!
For the next five days, you can watch the movie exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. As of now, it isn’t accessible through any other streaming service subscriptions.
In the movie, Ortega, known for his roles in “Wednesday” and “Scream,” pairs up with Martin Freeman, famous for his work in Marvel Cinematic Universe and “The Hobbit.” They portray a student and teacher who succumb to their feelings and secretly engage in a romantic relationship.
2024 saw a low-key, movie theater debut for it, with earnings of $4 million against an estimated production cost of $1.16 million.
Apart from failing to achieve significant commercial success, Miller’s Girl was similarly met with less-than-favorable reviews by critics.

On Rotten Tomatoes, it currently has 66 reviews, 30% of which are positive.
Inside Hook expressed that the movie was uncertain if it was merely a dumb film, a clever example of semi-intentional camp, or a cunning undercover parody. Conversely, veteran critic Richard Roeper stated that the film eventually commits an egregious cinematic error: It becomes dull.
According to MovieFreak.com, while the movie overall fails to impress, it effectively highlights Ortega’s acting prowess.

Viewers on IMDb tend to be somewhat lenient, as one user labeled it as “heavily underestimated,” praising the chilling portrayal of Ortega’s character in Cairo Sweet as “exceptionally terrifying.
I recently discovered a film that seems simpler on the surface, but upon closer inspection, it reveals intricate layers. The ensemble cast delivered exceptional performances that truly captivated me, although some viewers might find the pacing slow and wandering. However, if you’re willing to invest time in it, this movie offers an emotionally moving (and slightly unnerving!) journey that will leave a lasting impact on you.
Miller’s Girl is currently available on Prime Video.
The latest print issue from Digital Spy is now available! You can purchase the Oasis – Live in ’25’ special edition at newsstands or online, priced at an affordable £8.99.
