You can now watch A Minecraft Movie at home in the US – but when is the UK release coming?

The blockbuster film titled “Minecraft” has raked in an impressive $900 million globally! If you missed it in theaters, you can now enjoy the movie from the comfort of your own home in the United States.

The popular movie is still playing in theaters for that immersive theater feel. A “Minecraft Film” isn’t currently streaming in the UK households, but UK enthusiasts won’t have to endure the wait for much longer.

Warner Bros has officially announced that the “Minecraft Film” is set for digital release in the United Kingdom starting at midnight BST on Monday, 19th May.

To catch “A Minecraft Movie” the moment it premieres, consider pre-ordering your copy on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Microsoft Store, or various other digital marketplaces immediately.

If you like having a tangible version of the movie “A Minecraft Movie“, we understand that you might want to secure your copy right away. Unfortunately, we don’t have an official release date yet, but you can pre-order it on formats like DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD. This way, you’ll be among the first to own it once it becomes available.

Additionally, you can find a special Limited Edition 4K Steelbook available only at HMV on the very same release date.

Following its recent achievement over the weekend, it’s possible that “A Minecraft Movie” might be the first film of the year to gross $1 billion globally in ticket sales at the box office if things continue this way.

Although Warner Bros hasn’t publicly confirmed a sequel, director Jared Hess hinted at discussions for one, suggesting that a follow-up might be in the works, given his mention of significant appearances teased in the closing credits scene of the previous movie.

Just after the movie’s release last month, he shared that creating this film was incredibly enjoyable for us, and the game’s universe is vast with numerous untouched aspects we longed to explore.
