Playtonic Studios has published a new video, called ‘gameplay explainer’, that provides another glimpse at the updated version of Yooka-Laylee, which is set to launch later this year.
The latest video also includes the debut of new character Coinelius, and confirms a partnership with PM Studios, who will serve as co-publisher on the remaster of the 2017 collectathon platformer.
Additionally, you can take a peek at some of the game’s “homemade” biomes – the five distinctive realms found in Yooka-Laylee, each offering its own set of obstacles and treasures, and are now presented in stunning 4K clarity.
This year, the game called Yooka-Laylee is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and personal computers (PC).
