Yoga Pose Stumps The 1% Club Contestants, Can You Ace It?
Approximately one-third of the participants in The 1% Club found themselves eliminated early this week, as a yoga-inspired puzzle proved to be more mentally challenging than physically demanding for many viewers.
The ITV hit, hosted by Lee Mack, saw 100 contestants attempt to win a huge cash prize.
In each round, the public was asked the questions from the program, and the percentage of correct answers determined the level of difficulty for that particular round.
Aptly, the final quiz is one that just 1 per cent of the public answered correctly.
In this instance, it appears that the 70% question tripped up several contestants, ultimately eliminating 27 from the competition.
It read: ‘Which yoga position comes next in this sequence?’

Options A, B or C flashed up, giving contestants just 30 seconds to make their minds up.
As a fervent admirer, I couldn’t help but jump for joy when Lee disclosed that the solution was option A. He elucidated his reasoning in such an intriguing manner: ‘The figure transitions from one limb on the ground, to two, then three – it only makes sense that the next move requires all four limbs to touch the floor.’
However, as Lee faced Sarah, the former assistant psychologist, she clarified the puzzling reasoning that underpinned her response.
‘I just went for the one that looked the comfiest really,’ she shrugged.
Lee inquired about what she had concluded regarding him during the program, to which she jokingly responded: ‘Apparently quite low intelligence.’
However, Lee quickly retorted, “No, I won’t be eliminated after round three, will I?” This remark elicited cheers from the studio audience.
As an ardent admirer putting forth my thoughts, let me shed some light on the matter. After our unfortunate contender, Wain, once again found himself unsuccessful in mastering the yoga enigma.
Initially known as a solo artist, Wain surprisingly transformed into a George Michael impersonator – with a little encouragement from Lee, he showcased his abilities to the crowd.

To be honest with you, Wain,” Lee confessed, “Your actions and words weren’t exactly what I was anticipating from you.
‘I get that a lot,’ Wain replied, as Lee praised his vocals.
Not just that single event, there were also other significant departures during the night. In round one, fourteen contestants were eliminated, all stumped by what appeared to be a straightforward problem involving counting.
Lee inquired: “Which of the trio, Oliver, Emily, or Rosie, will utter the number ‘twenty’ as they take turns counting from one to twenty?
Following a short moment of silence, Lee responded with “Emily.” This is because, by the time they are all eighteen, Rosie completes the group’s cycle, which means it’s Oliver’s turn to say nineteen, and Emily finishes off with twenty.
