As a passionate gamer, I can hardly contain my excitement as Seoul prepares to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Samurai Champloo with an extraordinary pop-up event! This is a historic first for South Korea, as it’s the debut of an event solely dedicated to Shinichirō Watanabe’s beloved cult-favorite anime. I can hardly wait to be part of this unique celebration!

Exclusive items such as clothing, trinkets, and memorabilia will be sold at the temporary store. These items include sweaters, tops with long and short sleeves, which showcase fresh designs based on Nujabes’ anniversary and Samurai Champloo graphics.

One key feature of this pop-up event is the rare second chance to obtain the popular box set of the hard-to-find vinyl records. Originally introduced only in Japan, it swiftly ran out of stock during its first release. This collectible item contains six 7-inch vinyl discs, each featuring theme music and tunes from the show composed by Nujabes. The sleeves for these records exhibit distinctive designs, embellished with memorable moments from the anime, such as its famous opening scene.

Over the upcoming weekend, on May 31 and June 1, a special Samurai Champloo 20th Anniversary event will unfold in Hannam-dong, one of Seoul’s bustling commercial areas known for its lively shopping scene.
