Yellowstone star’s horror movie is now available to watch on Netflix
As a seasoned gamer and binge-watcher with years of experience under my belt, I must say that Kelsey Asbille’s new movie “Don’t Move” has certainly moved me to the top of my watch list! The suspenseful plot, coupled with a star-studded cast, is a recipe for an edge-of-your-seat experience.
Yellowstone star Kelsey Asbille’s new movie Don’t Move is now available to watch on Netflix.
The film, titled “Spider-Man” was initially helmed by Sam Raimi, later directed by both Adam Schindler and Brian Netto. In this movie, a female character finds herself in a harrowing situation as she struggles to evade a ruthless serial killer who administered a substance that leaves her immobilized.
Alongside Asbille, American Horror Story actor Finn Wittrock, Moray Treadwell from The Witcher: Blood Origin, and Daniel Francis, known for his role in Bridgerton, have also been added to the cast.
The story follows Iris, a grieving young woman who travels to the isolated forest where her son died.
Upon paying my respects at that grave, a stranger stepped up, shared tales of his personal sorrow. His narrative echoed with sincerity, offering me a glimmer of healing for my own pain. But as I delved deeper into our conversation, it became clear that he was not the altruistic soul he pretended to be.
Upon returning to my car, this unfamiliar figure shoots me up with some sort of immobilizing substance. With barely 20 minutes left before my body succumbs entirely, I grit my teeth and resolve to put up a fierce struggle to keep on living.
Producer Sam Raimi talked about the challenges of this story for Tudum.
As a gamer, I found myself in a similar situation while acting in a movie scene. The script demanded me to remain motionless for an extended period, and honestly, I felt a tinge of anxiety. I worried that the audience might grow restless, but the directors skillfully managed it, turning the suspense up a notch with each passing minute.
In her own words, Asbille (playing the role of Iris) shared: “This story is a fast-paced, minimalistic thriller that surprisingly feels deeply personal at times. What drew me in was the struggle to triumph over something that leaves you immobilized.
Asbille gained significant recognition for playing the character Monica Long on the successful western TV show produced by Paramount, titled Yellowstone. Prior to this role, she made appearances in well-liked series such as One Tree Hill and Teen Wolf.
