The American television series “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1,” featuring Yellowstone actor Kevin Costner, has set its U.S. streaming premiere date.

The Western film will be available for Max subscribers to watch from Friday, August 23.

The release date for streaming in the UK has not been disclosed as of now, however, you can buy or rent it digitally from platforms such as Amazon and iTunes.

As a gamer, I must admit that diving into “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1” wasn’t the cinematic adventure I had hoped for. The movie received a disappointing 49% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which probably didn’t do much to boost its ticket sales. In the end, it only managed to pull in $24 million at the box office, while reportedly costing between $50-100 million to produce.

As a passionate gamer pouring my own funds into a four-part game series, I can’t help but feel content with how things have unfolded, despite the less-than-stellar reception the first installment has received.
