As a fan who’s had my fair share of binge-watching suspenseful and action-packed series, I can hardly contain my excitement for the return of Taylor Sheridan’s masterpiece, “Special Ops: Lioness”. With the powerhouse duo of Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldaña leading the charge, this show has become a must-watch in my household. The fact that it’s back on our screens just in time for Halloween (and my annual marathon of scary movies) is like a cherry on top!
The second season of “Special Ops: Lioness,” the TV show created by Taylor Sheridan, who is also the head of “Yellowstone,” has officially been set to air on its premiere date.
According to Deadline, the show featuring Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldaña is set to air on Paramount+ in the United States and regions where the streaming platform is accessible, starting this coming Sunday, October 27th. The premiere will consist of two episodes released simultaneously, followed by a new episode every Sunday until the finale on December 8th.
In season 2, Kaitlyn (Kidman), Joe (Saldana), and Byron (Michael Kelly) introduce a fresh agent to their team as they continue their battle against terror for the CIA. This time, they go undercover to tackle a completely new menace.
Meanwhile, Joe has to deal with all the personal sacrifices she’s had to make in the line of duty.

In a new development, it’s confirmed that Morgan Freeman will reprise his role as Secretary of State Mullins, while Trevor Sheridan has been named both the writer for the initial four episodes and director for the third one.
When the series “Lioness” was granted a second season, Jeff Grossman, Vice President of Programming at Paramount+, expressed in a statement that the platform’s audience has united in appreciation for the captivating, worldwide narrative of “Lioness” and the outstanding performances delivered by Zoe Saldaña, Laysla De Oliveira, and Nicole Kidman.

“We’re eagerly anticipating even more thrilling suspense and dynamic action from Taylor Sheridan and his remarkably skilled crew, as they continue their work in the show’s second season.”
It was revealed earlier this year that Nicola Kidman’s show, Big Little Lies, will indeed have a third season. Interestingly enough, it was Kidman’s own teenage daughter who played a significant role in securing its renewal.
Special Ops: Lioness is available to watch now on Paramount+.
