Yellowjackets season 3 confirms release date in new teaser trailer

As a die-hard fan of Yellowjackets, I can hardly contain my excitement as the premiere date for season 3 has finally been announced! After what felt like an eternity since the last episode aired, we won’t have to wait until next Valentine’s Day (February 14, 2025) to dive back into this captivating series. And with a new teaser that hints at even more violence and intrigue, I can barely sleep at night!

Yellowjackets season 3 has finally landed a premiere date alongside a new teaser.

In Spring 2023, Paramount+ aired its gripping survival drama show in collaboration with Showtime, and fans won’t have much time before the third season starts airing.

On February 14, 2025, which is also known as Valentine’s Day, it has been confirmed that two new episodes will premiere simultaneously in both the United States and worldwide locations like the UK.

A quick sneak peek has been released too, offering a fleeting preview of the impending action, as the lens zooms in on a skull adorned with a pendant hanging around its neck.

This Valentine’s Day, get ready for an overload of action! (The caption hints at a lot of intense scenes that will follow.)

Yellowjackets follows the story of a high school girls’ football team who survive a plane crash in the wilderness of Canada. The narrative also delves into their lives a quarter-century later.

It was recently confirmed that Oscar-winner Hilary Swank will be joining the cast for season 3 in an undisclosed role alongside Community‘s Joel McHale.

In other places, when talking to Digital Spy earlier this year, actress Christina Ricci (Misty Quigley) revealed that much of the storyline was hidden from the cast prior to shooting.

She admitted she doesn’t know too much, since they discover new details only when they start filming the series. Consequently, she’s not entirely sure about the specifics of what will happen to Misty.

“She noted: ‘As soon as we receive our scripts, everyone on the cast dives right in. I’ll check mine out wherever I am, even for just a quick scan. It’s thrilling to be part of something that sparks widespread curiosity and fascination.’

Yellowjackets airs on Showtime in the US and Paramount+ in the UK.
