Ye sued by ex-'fixer' allegedly asked to tail Bianca Censori, look into Kardashians

As a seasoned moviegoer who has witnessed the rise and fall of many a troubled celebrity, I must say that this latest turn of events involving Kanye West leaves me more than a little disheartened. It’s not every day that one encounters tales of conspiracy theories, titanium teeth, nitrous oxide, and death threats in the world of fashion and music.

A previous worker of Kanye West and his Yeezy clothing line is filing a lawsuit against him for breaking labor laws and causing emotional harm, claiming that Ye made threats on his life as he became increasingly involved in conspiracy theories and erratic, reckless, and potentially dangerous behavior, according to the employee’s lawyer.

A person, who is an unnamed employee and a Michigan resident, stepped forward to say he was employed by Ye (Kanye West) following his failed 2020 presidential campaign as the deputy campaign director. This individual, being a military veteran diagnosed with PTSD, further held the position of “intelligence director” within Yeezy, carrying out various investigations – including probing legal professionals and parties who sued Yeezy, Ye, and associated entities. These details emerged in the complaint filed on Thursday at Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Representatives for Ye did not immediately respond Friday to The Times’ requests for comment.

According to documents obtained by The Times, John Doe, who is listed as an employee, claimed he was employed by Ye (previously known as Kanye West) in December 2022. His role, allegedly, involved investigating different conspiracy theories and generating ideas to keep Ye in the limelight. This encompassed discussions about engaging with both domestic and global news outlets, managing investigations and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). These tasks eventually escalated into a full-time position within Ye’s organization, as stated in the complaint.

Additionally, Doe asserted that he served as a “problem solver” and was tasked with probing the family of Kim Kardashian’s ex-spouse, Kanye West, for alleged ties to criminal activities they were suspected of having, such as sex trafficking and connections to illicit enterprises. Furthermore, the award-winning rapper Kanye West also requested Doe to secretly monitor his wife, Bianca Censori, while she traveled to see her family in Australia without her consent.

As a movie-goer recounting recent events, I must share my thoughts on the intriguing turn of events surrounding Kanye West, or “Ye,” as he’s popularly known. In approximately May 2024, it was alleged that Ye dismissed a significant portion of his Yeezy leadership team. What followed was an unexpected transformation: Ye underwent dental surgery to get titanium teeth and reportedly started using nitrous oxide. Now, I’m no psychologist, but the speculation here is that these changes might have contributed to some of the erratic behavior we’ve witnessed since then. It’s a fascinating tale, isn’t it? The world eagerly waits to see how this story unfolds on and off the screen.

Following this incident, and upon hearing rumors about child abuse at Donda Academy linked to Ye, Doe asserted that Ye verbally assaulted him, using abusive language and threatening violence, even death, if he shared what he had learned from a Donda employee. At one instance, he said to Doe, “You’re fucked up dead to me!”, and played a recording of ominous voices that threatened harm towards him. The employee later stated that in the time that followed, he received threats from Ye’s associates, who were known as enforcers, which worsened his pre-existing PTSD symptoms.

The threats, unpleasant work conditions, and witnessing unlawful and immoral acts took a heavy toll on the Plaintiff’s psychological and emotional state,” the complaint stated. “As a result, he suffered from panic attacks, persistent anxiety, and intense emotional turmoil, compelling him to seek medical intervention and hospitalization for his deteriorating mental health.

He alleged that he was fired and retaliated against “through a campaign of threats, intimidation, and harassment” for reporting child-abuse claims, drug use and “his refusal to engage in unethical activities.”

Apart from intentionally and knowingly, they neglected to deliver him a full and truthful account of his wages on each pay stub and retained all the wages they ought to have paid him in his final compensation check – infringements of California’s labor laws.

According to a statement made to The Times by Doe’s legal representatives, they are aiming for a jury trial and damages in excess of seven figures – both punitive and compensatory, which also include unpaid wages. In addition, he has cited several reasons for his lawsuit, such as retaliation, intentional emotional distress, negligent infliction of emotional distress, multiple violations of labor codes, among others.

Doe’s lawsuit is the latest in a legal pile-up for the “Famous” rapper.

In the previous year, two ex-teachers filed a lawsuit against Kanye West, accusing him of work misconduct, regarding his now-closed Donda Academy, an unaccredited private educational institution located in the Greater Los Angeles region, which ceased operations in 2022.

In April, Trevor Phillips, a former worker at both Yeezy and Donda Academy, filed a lawsuit against the renowned celebrity, his clothing line Yeezy, and the educational institution. Phillips stated claims of discrimination, a toxic work environment, retaliation for whistleblowing, and unsafe working conditions, among other grievances.

In June, Ye was accused in a separate lawsuit of sexually harassing a personal assistant.

In July, it was alleged that he, his Yeezy brand, and his former chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, were involved in creating a hostile work environment marked by racial bias, compulsory labor, and the non-payment of wages to workers, according to ex-employees.

Ron Zambrano, representing Doe, stated on Thursday that the escalating legal issues faced by Doe are self-inflicted. He’s been habitually employing people poorly, not paying them as required by labor laws, and even making threats against their lives – actions which have led to these current problems.

Zambrano stated that his client is so terrified by your inconsistent, unsettling, and unforeseeable actions that they prefer to stay hidden to ensure their own security.

He stated that it’s not just wrong, it’s morally reprehensible for an employer to make threats against employees, be they about physical harm or even death.
