Prior to the confrontation with entity θ, a tactical exosuit was created. This suit momentarily amplifies Yao‘s fighting abilities, showcasing a more vigorous and industrious side. The uneven and lace-like design of the suit gives her a more dynamic and spirited appearance.

Standard Skill: Onslaught of Light and Dark

In the action, Yao propels an explosive object at their adversary, causing Area of Effect (AoE) damage and yielding U-Energy in the process.

With her ultimate activated, Yao now fires a series of projectiles that not only damage opponents but also push them away.

Editor’s remark: It’s unclear how her final ability contributes to this, and the initial glimpse doesn’t provide any insight. I would speculate that it might stem from her Neuronics or similar technology.

Support Skill: Night’s Edge

Yao constructs “Persistent Connections” that can connect up to three adversaries, causing them continuous harm and producing U-Energy in the process. Enemies linked together sustain more damage when struck critically.

Ultimate Skill: Saving Light

Yao leaps up and sets up a Twilight Field, boosting the attack power of all allies according to Yao’s defense. Simultaneously, existing Perseverance Links are withdrawn and replaced with improved versions. These new links amplify their effects based on Yao’s ultimate ability rather than her supportive skills. If an enemy linked to another ally dies, the link will automatically switch to a fresh target.

During the activation of the Twilight Field, no U-Energy can be produced. Instead, the Twilight Field gradually uses up U-Energy. If the amount of U-Energy available is not sufficient, the Twilight Field will terminate its duration prematurely.
