YaLLa Esports unveil 2 CS2 tournaments for 2025 with a combined $1.5 million prize pool

As a dedicated CS:2 fan and avid gamer, I can’t help but be thrilled about the upcoming 2025 CS:2 esports calendar. With YaLLa Esports joining the fray with two massive “S-tier” events, the excitement is reaching new heights. The $1.5 million prize pool for each YaLLa Compass tournament is a testament to the growing popularity and recognition of CS:2 in the MENA region.

The 2025 calendar for CS2 esports is looking packed.

In 2025, YaLLa Esports, a tournament organizer based in the United Arab Emirates, plans to host two top-tier CS:2 events following the successful running of their $400,000 YaLLA Compass tournament earlier this year.

As an excited fan, I can’t wait for the YaLLa Compass events in 2025! These tournaments will dish out a massive $1.5 million prize pool. Based on HLTV.org’s information, the first LAN competition is set for April 15-20, while the second one is expected towards the end of the year. Both events will unfold right here in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

At the end of this month, the open qualifiers for the upcoming YaLLA Compass tournament will begin. YaLLA Esports is expected to complete the roster of teams by inviting those ranked highest according to Valve’s official standings. In last year’s YaLLA Compass competition, The MongolZ and Ninjas in Pyjamas advanced to the final round, with The MongolZ ultimately winning and receiving a prize of $200,000.

How is the 2025 CS2 calendar looking like with these 2 YaLLa Esports events?

Excitedly speaking as a passionate CS:GO fan, I can’t help but be thrilled about the abundance of tournaments in store for CS:2 teams and players in 2025. According to HLTV.org, no less than 25 LAN events have been announced so far!

With Valve’s announcement to ESL and BLAST to halt their partnership programs and transition to an open system, it was no longer a shock that this large number of CS:GO tournaments has emerged. Other organizers like PGL, StarLadder, and now YaLLa Esports had been anticipating this chance to organize more events in the CS2 scene.

Here are all CS2 tournaments taking place in 2025, according to HLTV.org’s tracking.
