Xtreme Gaming announces changes to Dota 2 roster ahead of DreamLeague Season 24

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I have witnessed countless roster changes within teams, but the recent shakeup at Xtreme Gaming has left me both intrigued and saddened. The departure of veterans like XinQ and Dy, who have been pillars of strength for the team, is undoubtedly a significant loss not just for the team, but for the entire Dota 2 community.

At DreamLeague Season 24, Xtreme Gaming is set to unveil a fresh duo of players for their team. Discover their updated lineup by clicking here.

In a notable shift within the Dota 2 competitive scene, Xtreme Gaming has publicly revealed adjustments to their team lineup. This announcement follows several roster changes that took place post The International, which ended on September 15th. As part of these modifications, Xtreme Gaming has chosen to sever ties with two of its members: Zhao “XinQ” Zixing and Ding “Dy” Cong.

XinQ and DY have left an enduring impact on XG’s prestige and development while being members of our team. We express our deepest gratitude for their dedication, though it is with regret that we must bid them farewell as circumstances demand. We hope they achieve great success in the future, and may a favorable wind always guide them onward.

XinQ’s departure

Initially, there’s a significant change with Xinq, a key team member, moving into an inactive status. At only 26 years old, Xinq has been a pillar for the team, earning accolades for his outstanding play and abilities. This transition catches the community off guard because Xinq has played a crucial role in Xtreme Gaming’s success. For now, we don’t know what Xinq plans to do next.

Dy’s departure

In addition to Xinq, Xtreme Gaming has also bid farewell to its long-time hard support player Dy, who joined them in November 2021. Known as one of Xtreme Gaming’s most dedicated members, Dy’s impact on the team has been significant throughout their journey together. His move to an inactive status signifies a turning point for the organization, symbolizing the end of an era.

New additions to the roster

Due to recent team member departures, Xtreme Gaming has recruited two new players to take their places: Pyw will serve as a stand-in at position 4, while Tian Ming will do the same at position 5. Both players are highly regarded within the Chinese Dota 2 community and should bring valuable expertise and innovative ideas to the team.

Xtreme Gaming will debut its new roster soon

At the much-awaited DreamLeague Season 24, I’ll be unveiling our brand new gaming lineup! This tournament, taking place from October 27th to November 10th, promises intense competition as 16 teams go head-to-head for a jaw-dropping prize pool of an incredible $1 million!
