Xsolla and Savvy Games Group partner together to enhance the video game development industry in the Middle East
As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement and optimism upon hearing about the partnership between Xsolla and Savvy Games Group. Being an avid follower of game development trends worldwide, I’ve seen the struggles and triumphs that game developers face, especially those in emerging markets like the Middle East.
Under a mutual agreement, known as a Memorandum of Understanding, Xsolla and Savvy Games Group have joined hands with the aim to foster growth in video game development across the Middle East region. As per this new agreement, Xsolla will collaborate with Savvy Games Group to further the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030, which focuses on generating fresh economic avenues for video game developers within the Middle East.

As a result of this newly formed partnership, it’s projected that approximately 3,600 new job opportunities within the video game industry will be generated by the year 2030. This target aligns with Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision, which incorporates video game development as one of its goals. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) not only fosters video game development in the Middle East but also enables Xsolla to establish and manage its regional headquarters in Riyadh, offering support to developers in the region.
Beyond this collaboration, it will initiate the introduction of Xsolla’s Video Game Development Academy, Incubator, and Accelerator programs within the kingdom. These initiatives aim to foster additional economic opportunities. By providing developers with cutting-edge technology and assistance, they can develop superior game titles. Moreover, the Xsolla Game Development Academy serves to encourage game development as a promising career path for the youth in this realm.
Through this partnership with Xsolla, we’re making a substantial stride towards our goal of propelling Saudi Arabia’s gaming and esports scene onto the global stage. By joining forces in terms of resources and knowledge, we’re fostering employment opportunities and constructing an industry that is both enduring and prosperous. For quite a while, Xsolla has been actively fostering game development by introducing tools and services designed to aid game creators in both outreach and sales.
