xQc calls out Kai Cenat’s proteges for “alleged” viewbotting, Cenat responds
It seems that a dispute has arisen between Kai Cenat and xQc, stemming from accusations made by xQc that two individuals under Kai Cenat’s mentorship are using viewbots on Twitch.
The world of streaming has fired up the barbecue, readying to serve us all some fresh content. This time, the main dish is a heated debate between famous streamers xQc and Kai Cenat. Let’s explore why these well-known personalities are butting heads online. Here’s a brief summary of the situation.
xQc claims Kai Cenat’s proteges, Lil Rodney Son and RaKai are viewbotting
In a recent live broadcast, well-known content producer xQc alleged that Lil Rodney Son (also known as girlhefunny1x) and RaKai (also known as 2xRaiKai) were using automated software to artificially boost their viewer count on Twitch. These two creators have amassed a substantial following of over a million users on the platform, and have frequently been promoted by Kai Cenat.
So, why does xQc claim they are viewbotting?
Speaking as a fan, in one of his streams, xQc expressed his skepticism towards others being viewbotters, saying, “They’re all suspected of using viewbots. I don’t feel the need to explicitly say it,” on Twitch while streaming alongside popular FaZe member StableRonaldo. “Going from 1k to 20k viewers overnight? Man, I’ve seen this pattern before. I’m no stranger to such situations.
Over the course of an incredibly brief span, I’ve seen a remarkable jump in viewership for my favorite streamers, climbing from a consistent 1,000 viewers to an astounding 20,000! It’s truly amazing to witness such a rapid surge in popularity.
“It’s their agency doing it.”
This statement, put forth by xQc, was not likely to be overlooked by Cenat, given his significant efforts in promoting the two streamers, whose popularity has significantly grown during the past year.
Kai Cenat responds to xQc’s viewbotting claims
Kai Cenat didn’t mince words in his reaction to xQc’s accusations that RaKai and Lil Rodney Son were using viewbots on Twitch.
In simpler terms, Cenat on Twitch commented about xQc’s recent statements by saying, “It seems like you’re swallowing someone else’s words whole, which is strange. You claim it’s a joke, but it doesn’t come off that way. I can ask Reggie (Lil Rodney Son), does he know who xQc is? He doesn’t seem to, bro. Reggie is just a regular guy from the hood.
Centa argues that Lil Rodney Son spends minimal time on Twitch, primarily focusing on his own stream, and is entirely unacquainted with xQc.
While Cenat fought back, it seems like xQc wanted the last word.
xQc makes ANOTHER response
Amidst the commotion, xQc decided to drop by Kai Cenat’s live stream to get a better understanding of what he was discussing regarding the situation. A brief glance was enough for xQc to gather his thoughts and offer his perspective as well.
xQc wanted to understand the circumstances leading to four consecutive days with chat rates below 40%. He was asking for an explanation of any event or situation that could cause a drop in validation rate, whether it be known or unknown, in the context of chat interactions.
The streamer then made sure people knew not to come at him, but instead to look at the facts.
“Why are you going to attack me? Attack my story.”
It’s worth noting that viewbotting, or artificially inflating view counts on streaming platforms, is a significant concern within the streaming community. This practice is often employed by some individuals to gain an advantage over other streamers. However, it’s also important to acknowledge that there are instances where people can experience sudden success. So, when Qxc accuses these two specific streamers of viewbotting, one might question whether this assertion appears a bit audacious or if he has valid evidence to support his claim.
