Although many believed season 3 of XO, Kitty would be the show’s last, the ending suggests there could be more stories about Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) and her friends at KISS. Okay, so XO, Kitty season 3 really tied things up! It was great to see pretty much everyone end up happy, with all the couples sorted out as they headed into their senior spring semester. Honestly, it feels like this might be the last we see of these characters, but it’s cool to know that KISS itself – the school – is still going strong, which leaves the door open for potential future stories, maybe with a new group of students.

If XO, Kitty gets renewed for a fourth season on Netflix, most of the actors from season three would probably return. The show would likely focus on Kitty’s last semester of senior year at KISS, meaning the core group of students – and therefore the main cast – would need to be back.

While some characters, like Jin Lee and Marius, might not return for the next season, most of the main cast will probably be back. The show could explore what’s next for Dae and Min Ho as they continue making music, or for Yuri as she keeps working with Yisoo after the fashion show.

The end of XO, Kitty season 3 showed Kitty and Min Ho are ready to meet Kitty’s family and get more serious, but it wasn’t clear what the future holds for the other characters. Yuri is likely to pursue a career in fashion design, but she should focus on finishing school and repairing her friendship with Julianna first.

I really hope we get to see Kitty and Min Ho’s relationship develop in a potential season 4 of XO, Kitty! It feels so natural to see them either living with Kitty’s family or finishing up senior year back in Seoul. It would be amazing to see Min Ho experience Portland – he’s never been, and it could be a really fun way to kick things off!

Now that Kitty’s announced she’ll be attending NYU in the fall, it’s great to see her and Min Ho talking about what their future holds as a couple. With the third To All The Boys movie showing Lara Jean and Peter navigating a long-distance relationship, it will be interesting to see Kitty and Min Ho face a similar situation.

I really hope we get to see what happens with the other characters after KISS! It would be such a satisfying way to end the show. Also, they started a storyline this season with Professor Lee and Jiwon having a baby, and I think it’s important they follow through with that – I’d love to see their future unfold!

XO, Kitty Season 4 Production Updates & Possible Release

Although a fourth season of XO, Kitty hasn’t been officially confirmed, filming could start soon after the current season ends. The first season was made in 2022 and released in 2023, but production has been slower since then. Season 2 was renewed in mid-2023, but wasn’t filmed until 2024 and didn’t come out until 2025.

Season 2 of XO, Kitty launched in January 2025, and Netflix quickly renewed the show for a third season the next month. Filming for season 3 began mid-2025, allowing just over six months for production. With season 3 now premiering in March 2026, a renewal decision, if it happens, would probably come soon after.

Although the show is being presented as the last season, a popular Netflix series can always continue. If XO, Kitty gains more viewers, another season is possible, potentially starting production in late 2026. This could mean season 4 would arrive around this time next year.

While not officially confirmed, another season of XO, Kitty is possible. If enough people watch and ask for it, Netflix might decide to create a season 4.
