Xipto GC and Falcons Vega represented Southeast Asia as the second and first seeds, respectively, with HYPA HYPA Esports rounding out the region’s top three teams.
Despite being the region’s current champions and finishing a solid 4th at the GC Champs last season, Xipto has completely revamped its team. Their former player, Kelly “shirazi” Jaudian, now competes with Nova Esports GC in the Chinese league.
Alexandria “Alexy” Francisco, Odella “enerii” Abraham, and Camille “Kamiyu” Enriquez all joined Falcons Vega together and went on to win the championship in Stage 2.

Ninetails is a unique team as the first and only Korean seed in the tournament. They were on an amazing winning streak, having won 21 consecutive series, until they faced Xipto GC in the Upper Bracket Final.

This result moved Ninetails to the Lower Bracket Final, where they faced Falcons Vega. The match between Falcons and Ninetails was a thrilling five-game series, and Ninetails largely controlled the play. The Korean team convincingly defeated the Southeast Asian champions with two decisive 13-5 map wins, earning a chance to play Xipto again.
The match was very competitive, with both teams winning the first two maps 13-9 each. But Xipto found their stride and dominated the next two maps, securing a 3-1 victory and becoming the VCT 25 Game Changers champions over Ninetails.
Ex-Team Secret member Noel “NDG” De Guia congratulated his sister, PIETY, on their win.
Growing up, before we had our own computers, my sister and I would spend hours at computer shops playing first-person shooter games. Now, she’s just won the VCT GC Pacific tournament! She’s incredible. Huge congratulations to her team too! <3
