The Xbox Series X/S is being trialed with a fresh feature, providing a pre-launch data center for every game, prior to starting it.
Instead of saying “The feature, fittingly enough, is called Game Hubs, and when you launch a game you will get an info screen about it before you then confirm that you want to play it,” you could rephrase it as: “Upon starting a game, you’ll first see an informational screen about the game. After reviewing this screen, you can choose to proceed with playing it.” This version is more straightforward and easier to understand.
According to Xbox:
In this section, you’ll find details specific to the game you chose, including your personal stats, accomplishments, friends currently playing, recent catches, potential upgrades, upcoming events, and much more.
In case you’re eager to dive right into the game, the main emphasis within Game Hubs is consistently placed on the ‘Play’ button. This setup allows for an effortless ‘two quick taps’ to start playing directly from the game icon.
It’s still uncertain if this feature will be made widely available. Currently, it can only be accessed by players who have joined the Xbox Insider Preview Program. While some might find the quick double-tap function annoying, time will tell what happens next.
There isn’t any word yet on when this feature will roll out fully.
