Xbox Ghost Cipher Wireless Controller Unveiled Alongside Elite Series 2 Cipher Range
As a seasoned gamer with decades of controller gripping under my belt, I must say, Microsoft has really outdone themselves this time! The Ghost Cipher Xbox Wireless Controller Special Edition is nothing short of a marvel, and it’s not just because of its stunning, transparent crystal case.
Microsoft unveiled a fresh lineup of the Cipher Series for the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, along with the new Ghost Cipher Xbox Wireless Controller Special Edition – a stylish, translucent addition to their collection.
The Ghost Cipher Controller has been added to the lineup, joining the vibrant blue Sky Cipher Xbox Wireless Controller, which was released in August. It features a transparent crystal casing with silver metallic accents on the face buttons and thumbsticks. Additionally, there are hints of golden bronze on the triggers and directional pad.
According to the Xbox Wire description, the Cipher Series boasts a clear outer shell and stylish silver accents, providing a glimpse into the controller, much like the iconic transparent devices from the past cherished by tech aficionados. This time, it’s being revived for a fresh wave of gamers.
For the Cipher Series specifically designed for the Elite Xbox Controller Series 2, you’ll discover six fresh transparent patterns inspired by the iconic translucent technology from the ’90s and early 2000s in the Xbox Design Lab. Additionally, there are two chromatic d-pad and paddle designs – Sunset Chroma and Energy Chroma, to complement your gaming experience.
The latest Xbox Design Lab Cipher Series offers a variety of cases: the sleek Xbox green Velocity Cipher, the elegant purple Astral Cipher, the cool blue Surf Cipher, the playful pink Candy Cipher, and the vibrant red Pulse Cipher. Additionally, you can pair these designs with the new multi-colored d-pads and paddles, along with the standard rubberized diamond grips, thumbsticks, and other components.
