Xbox Free Play Days Has Two Games To Try This Weekend

As an avid gamer who’s spent countless hours navigating the virtual seas and battling the undead hordes, I couldn’t be more thrilled about this weekend’s Free Play Days lineup! The chance to dive into Age of Water and Outbreak is like finding a treasure chest full of gaming gold.

This weekend, you have the opportunity to test out two games, Age of Water and Outbreak, free of charge through the Free Play Days event. These games can be downloaded starting today, and they’re available for members with either an Xbox Game Pass Core or Ultimate subscription.

In simple terms, Age of Water is an open-world online action game set in a nautical environment where you assume the role of a sea captain. Your mission involves navigating the ocean floors to gather resources while facing off against powerful enemies in a post-apocalyptic setting. You have the freedom to construct your own vessel using salvaged materials or seize the ships belonging to other players.

Meanwhile, Outbreak is a cooperative survival shooter from the ’90s era, set in a top-down view. You can choose to play as various survivors, each with unique abilities. Your mission involves scavenging for useful items and fighting off the undead throughout the campaign, or engage in quick battles using the Nightmares Mode. Additionally, it offers split-screen multiplayer and inventory management options.

You can download and play “Age of Water” and “Outbreak” for free until Sunday, September 1st at 11:59 pm PDT, through the Free Play Days event.
