X Factor star Lucie Jones has revealed that she’s pregnant with her first child.

The 34-year-old Welsh singer and actress announced on social media Thursday that she’s expecting a baby girl in July.

Lucie shared several photos of her growing baby bump with her partner, George Hersey, and announced, ‘We are thrilled to share that we’re expecting a baby!’

‘Nothing comes close to this feeling, we feel like the luckiest people in the world.

‘She’ll be here in July and we cannot wait to meet our little girl.’

The singer began dating George, a restaurant owner, last year, shortly after her divorce from Ethan Borian following an eight-year marriage. Their relationship has moved quickly.

Even though their romantic relationship is new, they’ve actually been friends for a long time.

Since finding fame on the X Factor in 2009, Lucie has enjoyed a stellar career in musical theatre.

She first gained recognition playing Cosette in Les Misérables alongside Nick Jonas in 2012. She later became well-known for her heartbreaking performance as Eponine at the Sondheim Theatre, earning her the 2019 Whatsonstage Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical.

Oh my gosh, Lucie is BACK in the West End, and I’m losing it! She’s playing Fantine at the Sondheim Theatre – can you believe it?! – and it’s only until April, so I have to see it multiple times before it’s over. I’m already checking ticket availability constantly!
