Wynne Evans’ Show Canceled Amid Scandal: What You Need to Know!
Tonight, the show “All At Sea with Joanna Page” presented by Wynne Evans will not be broadcast as scheduled, due to his removal from the BBC’s “Strictly Come Dancing” live tour.
In my commitment to uphold professional standards, I chose to step away from my role on the popular show, following an unfortunate incident where a private and inappropriate remark about one of my esteemed co-stars, Janette Manrara, was unfortunately made public.
Wynne stated that he’s taking a break from his roles at BBC Radio Wales, yet his travel program continues to air as usual.
Instead, there won’t be a regular episode of the program airing on Monday. In its place, an EastEnders special is scheduled to be broadcast.
This week marks the 40th anniversary of a popular BBC soap opera, and to commemorate the event, additional episodes have been scheduled.
This week, Wynne’s show, which is usually aired on Mondays at 8:30 PM, will instead become accessible for viewing at the exact same time on Wednesday.

This evening, EastEnders: 40 Years on the Square takes over, where Ross Kemp interacts with former and current cast members.
Over the past week, I’ve been buzzing with excitement as rumors swirl about my beloved Wynne taking a stand! Apparently, he’s planning to sue the BBC, and it seems like his partner, the wonderful Liz Brookes, is right there beside him, offering her unwavering support. It just goes to show how strong their bond is!
According to The Sun, the bond between the problematic celebrity and his events manager, Liz (aged 50), appears to be more robust than before. Notably, Liz has resumed her visits to Wynne’s residence in Wales following some challenging periods for both of them recently.
According to an informant, Wynne found parting ways from the tour and his radio program quite challenging, and this situation strained his relationship with Liz.
‘They have now reconnected and Liz is completely supporting Wynne.
She’s returned to her partner’s home in Wales, and it’s clear they are an item. The last few weeks have been tough on Wynne, but having Liz around has really helped turn things around for him.
Last month, it was initially claimed that Wynne parted ways with his girlfriend due to her being embarrassed by his recent scandal, where he made an offensive joke on camera as shown in footage published by Mail On Sunday. However, a representative for Wynne has since disputed the report stating they remain together.
Last year during the springtime, Wynne started a new relationship with Liz, shortly after his 16-year marriage ended.

Even though Wynne had a challenging stint on Strictly Come Dancing, Liz consistently stood by him. She could frequently be seen encouraging him from the crowd, and there were moments when she posted an affectionate photo of them, expressing her admiration, stating that she was ‘proud’ of him.
Previously, Wynne opened up about reaching a low point during his bout with depression, which was triggered by the dissolution of his marriage to Welsh violinist Tanwen, who is also the mother of his two kids, in 2016.
In an enchanting turn of events, I crossed paths with my significant other during our shared participation in a British Youth Orchestra program. On this particular occasion, I found myself immersed in the role of Robinson Crusoe on stage.
Following the divorce, he had no choice but to vacate the familiar family residence where he lived with his daughter Ismay and son Taliesin. Instead, due to financial constraints, he ended up living in a run-down house in Cardiff, complete with boarded-up windows, which was all he could manage at that moment in time.
At a gathering following his marital separation, Liz played a significant role in transforming Wynne’s life and igniting his passion for fitness, which ultimately improved his physique for his engagement in Strictly.
Wynne feels that he’s been subjected to unfair treatment by the BBC, as it appears his “spit-roast” joke was a well-known nickname for a fellow cast member, considered as friendly banter among his Strictly companions.
According to reports, he is allegedly intending to bring the BBC before a court of law due to what he perceives as unfair treatment following his departure from the Strictly Come Dancing tour.
Wynne expressed regret over his offensive remark directed towards tour host Janette Manrara, as video evidence of the comment surfaced during the tour’s press conference.
In simpler terms, it’s stated that Wynne proposed, in an uncouth manner, a threesome involving himself, Janette, and used a disrespectful term often associated with a cooking method called ‘spit roast’. However, it’s important to note that Janette did not file a complaint against the singer regarding this incident.

It appears that the sexual comment wasn’t unexpected among his peers since it was a matter known to several of the professionals and famous personalities participating in the tour.
During the tour, as reported by The Sun, the phrase was frequently mentioned and met with laughter. It was a common topic of conversation before Wynne was eventually discovered.
Some friends of the Welsh opera singer expressed that he is deeply troubled because, despite the ongoing jest, no one came forward publicly to support him. (Wynne is ‘incredibly upset’)
A buddy shared with The Sun that “Wynne has a knack for filling awkward pauses.” He’s naturally humorous, and when you’re around him, he’ll keep you laughing with endless jokes.
I may find myself in a bit of a pickle, but let me assure you, it’s no more than what any average 50-something-year-old fan like me might utter with passion!
TopMob contacted Wynne’s representatives and the BBC for comment.
In the MoS movie, Wynne positions himself amidst a group of 20 celebrities and dancers, and Janette, who hosts Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two on TV, is called over to join them. As she makes her way over, Wynne gives her a grinning heads-up: “Stay a bit away from Jamie [Borthwick]!
Later, he subtly makes a flirtatious expression towards the actor, while Janette isn’t looking, as she passes by the two of them. That’s when Wynne cracks his offensive joke about her, aiming to humiliate her.

Moments after, Aljaz Skorjanec, Janette’s dancer spouse, inquired from his vicinity, “Sweetheart, are you alright?” To which she responded tersely, “Yes.
As one of Janette’s loyal followers, I can share that I overheard the host being unaware of Wynne’s comment, as I was recording from just about twenty yards off using my mobile phone.
Reports indicate that after leaving the tour, Wynne has brought on a crisis public relations consultant and is also consulting with a group of legal advisors.
There are rumors suggesting that top executives at Go Compare, the insurance company Wynne has represented in advertisements since 2009, may have convened emergency meetings regarding his role with the brand. Additionally, the singer has taken a break from his BBC Wales radio show following the scandal.
According to a source, The Sun was informed that Wynne stated he will challenge the tribunal at the BBC using all his strength. Wynne believes he has been unjustly treated and intends to stand firm in this battle.
Wynne is well aware that his remark holds significance, and it’s aggravating for him to know that several professional dancers and celebrities who joined him on the tour also understand its meaning.
He’s deeply disappointed with how things unfolded, as nobody has come forward to support him publicly despite the situation being a private joke that didn’t upset anyone. Wynne feels betrayed by the whole ordeal and some of his colleagues who were once very dear to him.
Last month, The Mail On Sunday initially shared the video containing Wynne’s comment about a “spit-roast.” Although the performer was issued a caution by tour authorities regarding his behavior, it was stated that the BBC had not received any complaints concerning this incident when it occurred.

When The Sun reached out, the BBC chose not to respond with a comment. TopMob has attempted to get a response from both Wynne Evans and the BBC.
Reports indicate that Wynne might take legal action against the BBC, possibly due to a breach of contract and financial losses incurred. He’s already consulted with legal representatives about this potential lawsuit.
According to a trusted source, The Sun reports that Wynne has not been well this past week. His brother and business partner have taken care of him during this time.
‘He’s appointed an expensive law firm to take advice on potentially losing his jobs.’
Apparently, according to sources, his friends are convinced that Wynne can overcome the present controversy and rebound in his career.
As reported by The Mirror, a friend of the celebrity is shielding him from criticism by attributing the negative reactions to Wynne’s “poor sense of humor.
Despite making a foolish mistake and acting in an awkward manner, is it right for him to be subjected to such intense hatred?)
Yes, it was indeed an inappropriate choice of words (‘spit-roast’), which he now acknowledges. However, his issue lies in his knack for humor; he often feels compelled to entertain, engaging in what could be considered juvenile or slapstick humor.
My buddy commented: ‘Discussions about his career coming to an end are premature. After all, his radio program remains highly popular, and he’s quite well-liked by many.’
Wynne confirmed his departure from the Strictly live tour in a grovelling statement.
He announced that he has arranged with the BBC for a break from his radio program and the Strictly Live tour, as well as other public engagements, to focus on his personal health and wellness.
I sincerely apologize for any distress I may have unintentionally inflicted with my actions that were out of line. During this period, I intend to spend some time thinking about myself.
I’m sorry to those who won’t be able to catch me at the upcoming shows, but I appreciate every bit of support from my touring companions – they’ve been fantastic!
Professional ballroom dancer Katya Jones, who was paired with Wynne on Strictly Come Dancing, reshared the post and commented: “Let’s extend kindness and thoughtfulness towards each other.
