Wynne Evans & Katya Jones’ Awkward Strictly Moment Resurfaces Amidst Scandal

A video of Wynne Evans and his dance partner Katya Jones from “Strictly Come Dancing” has been found by enthusiasts as the uproar over Wynne’s inappropriate sexual comment intensifies, revealing a rather uncomfortable clip to the public.

The future of the opera singer is facing close examination by many, following his controversial remark about fellow Strictly cast member Janette Manrara, which was captured on camera by The Mail on Sunday.

Recently, viewers have discovered a backstage video shared on Strictly’s YouTube channel, showcasing an intimate moment between Wynne and his dancing partner, Katya, off camera.

In my latest chat with Katya, I mentioned that I was considering blocking her on Instagram. However, she didn’t disclose the cause for this potential action. To which, she responded, “You won’t be blocking me on Instagram.

In response to Katya wishing him good luck for Saturday, Wynne, looking directly into the camera, states: “I usually perform best when working independently. After all, you’ve seen me in action during those ads.

On social media, someone mentioned: ‘Recalling a humorous YouTube video they shared that seemed like a blooper reel, where Katya jokingly threatened to block Wynne on Instagram. While it might have been lighthearted at the time, it probably won’t look so great in retrospect, I suspect.’

Last year, during live broadcasts, the opera singer, aged 52, was allegedly involved in an incident where he was accused by Katya, who is 35 years old, of making inappropriate physical contact. However, both parties claimed it was a misinterpreted joke.

Criticism arose when viewers noticed Katya looking uncomfortable as he appeared to forcefully pull his hand away from her waist, while both were in view of the cameras off-stage.

Later on, Wynne attempted to slap a friendly five with his companion, but she sent him a sharp glare, let out an exasperated sigh, and walked off instead.

Or:

Subsequently, Wynne aimed for a friendly high-five with his associate, but she retorted with a disapproving glance, shook her head, and walked away displeased.

Trying to calm things down, they explained that what happened was simply them playing around, and it was an over-the-top, private joke among them.

Due to the incident, there was so much worry within the higher-ups at the BBC, as they had already been dealing with allegations of misbehavior in past shows for several months, that an investigation into the wellbeing of those involved was initiated.

Katya had confirmed that she had not felt uncomfortable and no further action was taken.

On Monday evening, Wynne faced intense criticism after it was announced that his new BBC travel series, titled “All At Sea,” would be aired, drawing strong opposition.

A source informed The Mirror during the broadcast, ‘The timing couldn’t be worse… his remarks were foolish and they undeniably overshadowed the premiere. I can’t imagine what was going through his mind.’

As a devoted participant in the show that partners me with Joanna Page, I found myself pondering over the question posed by viewers: Why was our program not delayed in light of my recent Strictly Come Dancing controversy?

others fiercely criticized Wynne, calling for her to step away from television broadcasts during a heated outburst on X, as controversy swirled around a distasteful sexual comment she had made.

Viewers expressed frustration on platform X during the show, saying things like, “What’s with the frequent appearances of Wynne Evans? The Go Compare ads are already annoying, but BBC seems intent on promoting him excessively. It’s time for the person in charge of their classic male segment to have a conversation about this.

As a loyal viewer, BBC, I’m just throwing an idea around here – might it be feasible to delay the #AllAtSea prime-time chatter by Wynne Evans for a bit? It seems like a good time to give it a pause.

They’ve temporarily removed Wynne Evans from the airwaves due to a humorous remark, though it’s expected that any controversy surrounding it might be downplayed without an explicit apology.

On a Monday, Wynne agreed to the BBC’s proposal to temporarily step away from his BBC Wales program. He has been presenting this show from various regional studios during his participation in the country-wide tour.

According to a source, the break was initiated due to the uproar over his comment, his ongoing grief following the death of his older brother Huw earlier this month, and the exhaustion from constant travel.

His Strictly Come Dancing colleagues are reportedly showing support for him on his birthday, following the news that he has been given time off from his radio program by the BBC.

On his 53rd birthday on Monday, Wynne received comfort from his fellow actors who were sensitive to his delicate emotional state.

As a devoted follower, I can share that my fellow cast members are rallying behind Wynne in a significant way. They’re exerting considerable efforts to ensure his wellbeing, as we all express deep concern for his mental state.

On a challenging run these past couple of days, and today being my special day, my loved ones are going all out to ensure I know I’m never truly alone. They’re pouring in the love and support.

Earlier this month, it was captured on record that Wynne proposed a vulgar idea for a threesome involving presenter Janette (aged 41), using an extremely disrespectful and derogatory term “spit-roasting.

Originally scheduled to air his show on Monday morning, instead, it’s been announced that BBC Wales will have comedian Robin Morgan filling in for him as he takes a brief leave of absence.

Wynne perfected the latest leg of the Strictly tour at the OVO Hydro Glasgow on Sunday night.

He arrived several hours later, following his apology for the comments made towards Janette that were published in The Mail on Sunday.

He said: ‘My language was inappropriate and unacceptable, for which I sincerely apologise.’

Representatives from BBC Studios and the organizers of the Strictly Live Tour have shared that they weren’t informed about the comment beforehand, nor had they received any related complaints.

We have made it very clear to Wynne that we do not tolerate such behaviour on the tour.’

It was revealed on Sunday night Wynne would not be axed from the tour in light of his comments.

As an over-the-moon fan, I’d put it this way: “When the news about those comments reached me, I just had to share it with everyone involved in the tour production. Right away, they gathered Wynne for a chat.

He expressed deep regret and acknowledged that his words were inadmissible and intolerable. He was cautioned firmly, leaving no room for ambiguity, that such language will not be accepted.

Backstage in Glasgow, it’s apparent that he’s deeply affected, heartbroken, and filled with regret. Wynne is a beloved figure on this tour, having formed strong bonds with numerous cast and crew members.
