Wynne Evans jokes about the ‘dark side’ in latest post as he plugs new radio show after leaving the BBC following Strictly controversy

In his recent post promoting his new radio show, Wynne Evans playfully hinted at departing from a less favorable situation.

Over the past six months, the career of the Strictly competitor and opera singer has faced difficulties following a contentious joke he made while rehearsing for the Strictly tour in January, causing controversy.

He employed lewd sexual suggestions and was involved in an inappropriate ‘straying-hand’ episode with dance partner Katya Jones during the performance, which appeared to involve her moving his hand away from her lower waist area.

Following the BBC’s probe into his behavior, they chose not to extend his radio agreement for his program.

Wynne recently started a brand-new daily radio program titled “The Wynne Evans Show.” This show airs live each weekday, from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM, directly on his website, wynneevansshow.com. This move comes after his departure from BBC Radio Wales.

On Thursday, he was advertising a show on his Instagram Story by posting an image of its graphics and the caption “He too has departed from the dark side.

In a previous statement, Wynne expressed that the show is dedicated to her community, The Wynners, who have stood by her in good times and bad.

Every daybreak finds me gravitating towards this special haven, a place that serves as a melting pot of shared joy, laughter, and the sweet symphony of our beloved tunes. Here, I get to let my true colors shine bright, embracing the essence of who I am at heart.

Last week, Wynne announced a fresh business undertaking, sparking concerns that he may have parted ways with his fiancée Liz Brookes.

Last week, Wynne unveiled a new business endeavor, leading to speculations about the state of his relationship with Liz Brookes.

Or:
In the previous week, Wynne revealed a new commercial project, causing whispers that he might have separated from his fiancée Liz Brookes.

He took to Instagram to share the news that he has joined up with a restaurant in his hometown.

On their Instagram, The Welsh House Carmarthen posted a video featuring Wynne, announcing his new role as a business partner, having been previously known for his success on Strictly Come Dancing.

In the video, Wynne announced that the location would now be known as “The Welsh House,” a name chosen by Wynne himself. He also shared that he plans to prepare dishes similar to those seen on MasterChef at this venue.

Following the cancellation of his BBC Wales radio program, Wynne additionally announced that he would begin hosting a fresh program straight from a restaurant and bar establishment.

Boasting about his hometown, he announced excitedly: “There’s a transformation happening – The Welsh House will soon be known as The Welsh House by Wynne!

You can count on it – our menu will feature dishes like those on MasterChef, we’re committed to giving you a friendly reception, and I genuinely invite you to join us. Sound good?

Our location will also host the radio program, so feel free to reach out, schedule your visit, and I look forward to seeing you there – it’s time for me to start preparing dinner!

Delighted to announce: Wynne Evans, renowned Welsh opera artist, TV host, and face of Go.Compare, joins our Carmarthen team as a valued collaborator!

As a devoted advocate and beaming supporter of Welsh cuisine, beverages, and tradition, Wynne infuses an extraordinary enthusiasm and affection for the community to collaborate with us in crafting something extraordinarily unique. Exciting developments lie ahead… The Welsh House by Wynne.

The Sun suggests that Wynne is launching his new restaurant as a means to leverage his victory in Celebrity MasterChef in 2023, and also as a way to keep himself occupied following rumors about his split from Liz.

According to a source, he is launching a restaurant centered around Welsh cuisine as a means to divert attention away from his split with Liz, as reported by the publication.

‘He paid the Welsh House to take over their existing space.’

‘He is trying to capitalise on his MasterChef win apparently,’ they added.

In a recent turn of events, Wynne isn’t pursuing a new freelance project right now, because he has taken up the role of an Airbnb host, managing a rental property located in Llansteffan, which is approximately eight miles from where he was raised.

TopMob contacted Wynne’s representatives for comment.

Lately, Wynne has caused concern about a potential breakup with his new partner Liz, as he removed their engagement announcement from Instagram and stopped following her.

Additionally, it was disclosed that Liz has stopped following Wynne, who recently made a proposal to the head of the events company just last month.

During a heartwarming journey to Morocco, he chose to propose by kneeling, and he captured this special moment by sharing it on Instagram. He uploaded photos showing his proposal and a detailed view of the stunning ring that now belongs to Liz.

He wrote: ‘Big news… I got engaged!

This past weekend in Morocco, amidst the couscous, camels, and my awkward navigation of the markets, I asked Liz to marry me. To my joy, she accepted! (There are no second thoughts; I’ve confirmed it.)

‘She’s clever, she’s kind, she’s got excellent taste in men.

I have no clue how it happened, but look at us now! I’m incredibly fortunate, extremely joyful, and slightly proud.

I must admit, I’ve noticed an odd occurrence on his social media profile. The photo that once showcased his blissful moments with his fiancée is now nowhere to be found. Similarly, any references to her seem to have vanished as well. It’s a peculiar development indeed.

Previously, Wynne was wedded to Tanwen for seven years, who is the mother of his two children. However, they parted ways in the year 2016.

In the year 2024, just prior to Wynne’s participation in the BBC1 dance competition, he encountered Liz. During the live performances of the show, Liz was frequently seen seated among the audience.

Following the cancellation of his BBC Wales program, Wynne disclosed plans for a fresh radio broadcast, which he intends to record at The Welsh House, as previously declared.

In May, he shared on Instagram that “The Wynne Evans Show” is returning, airing live daily from 9am – 12pm on a brand new app, compatible with Alexa and Google devices (we no longer need to mention ‘smart speaker’!), and also available at www.wynneevansshow.co.uk.

Here’s my take on it:

“Let’s embark on our next thrilling journey together! I can’t stress enough how crucial your presence is in this adventure. We’ve got a fantastic playlist, my daily trivia challenge, the enigmatic voice, your heartwarming soundtrack stories, and so many other exciting elements lined up. The reason? We’re reunited once more!”

This version maintains the original’s essence while using first-person narrative and easy-to-understand language as a lifestyle expert might speak.

The television program hosted by Wynne was not continued following revelations that he made suggestive remarks and was involved in an awkward incident involving his dance partner Katya Jones during the Strictly Live Tour. At one point, it appeared as though he inappropriately moved his arm from her lower waist on the show.

Following the BBC’s probe into his behavior, management chose not to extend his radio agreement for his program.

Consequently, it became known that the travelogue series he did with Joanna Page got terminated following only a single season.

The show initially aired during February and March of this very year, but it temporarily halted production when Wynne was removed from the Strictly tour. Later, it resumed broadcasting again.

According to an inside source, after the completion of the initial series, there was often doubt about the possibility of another installment.

‘Only now has the BBC publicly confirmed it won’t be returning.

This implies that Wynne doesn’t have a TV program or radio broadcast with the BBC anymore, which essentially signals the termination of their association.
