WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 2 Predictions: Roman Reigns Will RETIRE The Rock

In three months, WWE WrestleMania 41 is approaching, and the WWE is en route to the Royal Rumble this coming Saturday. Over the past weeks, several rivalries have been hinted at, and numerous matchups have been speculated over the last few months, leaving everyone curious about who might appear on this year’s WrestleMania card. Before the champions of the Royal Rumble are crowned, here are some early predictions for potential matches that could make WWE WrestleMania 41 one of the most thrilling pay-per-views of the year: WWE WrestleMania 41. Let’s kick things off with Gunther’s World Title Defense.

Gunther (c) vs. Seth Rollins [World Heavyweight Title]

As a passionate fan, I firmly believe Seth Rollins deserves a title match against Gunther for the championship title. His extensive history with the belt makes him an ideal contender. Originally, he had the right to a rematch when Damian Priest was champion, but that opportunity was spoiled by Drew McIntyre’s unsuccessful Money in the Bank cash-in. The stage has already been set for a potential title clash between Rollins and Gunther, so it seems likely that Rollins will secure his chance with a victory at the Elimination Chamber match.

However, it’s essential to note that Seth Rollins is already an established figure in the WWE, and regaining the title may not be necessary for him. With Gunther having suffered a loss against Zayn at Mania last year, this potential match-up could serve as a significant victory for the German giant instead.

Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez [Personal Rivalry]

As a gamer putting myself in the shoes of Roxanne, I’m pumped! It looks like my call-up from NXT to Raw is happening, and it’s all thanks to my main beef with Bayley. This feud might just stretch all the way to Mania, and I can’t wait! Both of us haven’t hinted at any other rivalries yet, so this should make for a fantastic non-title women’s bout at Mania. Plus, it’ll be an incredible main roster debut for me with Bayley playing the seasoned pro and helping launch my career on a grand stage.

In the WWE world of wrestling, non-title feuds aren’t always showcased on PPV cards, but in this case, I think they should bend the rules a bit. Roxanne looks up to Bayley as one of her idols in the ring, and together we could spin an unforgettable tale.

DIY (c) vs. Street Profits vs. Bloodline vs. Motor City Machine Guns [WWE Tag Titles]

DIY (Do It Yourself) ambushed Street Profits backstage to claim the tag titles initially, so it’s expected that the Profits will seek revenge to win the tag titles at WrestleMania for the first time since 2022. The Bloodline and Motor City Machine Guns are also significant figures in this ongoing tag team rivalry, ensuring they’ll play a role in this match as well.

Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Becky Lynch [InterContinental Title]

In May 2024, Becky Lynch relinquished the World Title following an extraordinary Mania match with both Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley. Interestingly, the protege that Becky had mentored during her journey was Lyra Valkyria, who had seized the NXT Title from none other than Becky herself. This setup could make for a captivating teacher-student narrative.

Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. LA Knight vs. Solo Sikoa vs. Jimmy Uso vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Damian Priest [U.S. Title: Ladder Match]

Here, there seems to be no definitive path or goal set. Nakamura had a rivalry with LA Knight and even seized the U.S. Title from him. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso are venturing into solo careers following their departure from The Bloodline. Damian Priest is in search of an alternative victory after losing the World Title to Gunther. However, it’s crucial that Carmelo Hayes wins, given his recent string of losses on SmackDown. Newcomers like Breakker, Stratton, and Valkyria have been granted significant opportunities within their first year on the main roster. It’s only fair that Carmelo Hayes receives the same consideration.

Sami Zayn vs. Jey Uso [Unsanctioned Match]

Recently, Sami Zayn’s intentions have raised eyebrows and there’s a strong possibility he might switch allegiances, following a reprimand from Kevin Owens regarding his dealings with The Bloodline. The primary reason Sami Zayn joined forces with Roman Reigns at Survivor Series was due to his friendship with Jey Uso. As this partnership held significant importance for Jey Uso, Sami put aside his personal ethics to aid his friend. However, at some juncture, Sami must prioritize himself. Eventually, he may lose control and the person who will bear the brunt of his anger will be the source of his long-standing conflicts – Jey Uso.

Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Charlotte Flair [WWE Women’s Title]

Despite being the favorite to win the Royal Rumble again, it might be more fitting for Charlotte to emerge victorious in the Elimination Chamber, as the Rumble winner traditionally faces the top champion like Rhea Ripley. On the other hand, Nia Jax has some lingering issues with Tiffany following her Money in the Bank cash-in, but there are strong whispers that Charlotte will challenge Tiffany for a singles world title this year. Given the current lack of direction in Tiffany’s title reign, a high-profile match against Charlotte could be an intriguing option for WrestleMania.

Roman Reigns vs. The Rock [Retirement Match]

It’s possible that if The Rock appears at WrestleMania this year, his opponents could be limited to Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, as these are the two main figures he has had ongoing feuds with since rejoining the WWE. At this point in his career, it wouldn’t be fitting for The Rock to compete for a World Title. A retirement match against Roman Reigns could be the best option. If there’s anyone who could potentially dethrone The Rock, it would likely be Roman Reigns. Passing the torch from The Final Boss (The Rock) to The Tribal Chief (Roman Reigns) makes sense, especially considering they both hail from The Bloodline and have made significant impacts in professional wrestling history.
