WWE SmackDown Predictions Dec 6, 2024: CM Punk Will BETRAY Roman Reigns

As a seasoned gamer and long-time WWE fan with over two decades of wrestling fandom under my belt, I must say that this week’s SmackDown lineup has me pretty pumped! With so many unresolved mysteries from Survivor Series 2024, it feels like we’re on the brink of some major revelations. The Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Electra Lopez match is shaping up to be a thrilling spectacle. I’ve always been a fan of Naomi and feel that she deserves another shot at greatness after her disappointing MITB loss.

After an incredible WWE Survivor Series 2024 PPV event, WWE SmackDown is in high spirits. The epic War Games match saw CM Punk and the original Bloodline vanquishing the New Bloodline, while Team Rhea Ripley maintained their supremacy against Team Liv Morgan within the same structure. Additionally, Shinsuke Nakamura snatched the U.S. Championship from LA Knight in the only title change of the night. However, two burning questions linger among fans: (1) Who perpetrated the backstage attack on Jade Cargill? and (2) What was the enigmatic favor that CM Punk owes Paul Heyman?

Currently, WWE is on its journey towards WWE Saturday Night Main Event 2024, a time when significant title fights and long-standing feuds are anticipated to conclude before the year’s end. On this week’s SmackDown, three bouts have been officially set: Naomi will face off against Ms. MITB Tiffany Stratton in a U.S. Title Tournament Match, while Electra Lopez takes on another opponent yet to be determined. In other news from WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns is slated to kick off the show, and Ciampa has given Gargano an ultimatum: either resolve issues with the WWE Tag Champions, MCMG, or let Ciampa take charge moving forward.

Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Elektra Lopez [U.S. Title Tournament]

In simpler terms, Naomi is expected to win this upcoming match and progress further in the tournament as the mid-card title offers her a chance to regain her lost footing since rejoining WWE. Previously being a World Champion, Naomi was thought to have won the Money in the Bank event instead; however, Tiffany Stratton is currently the Miss Money in the Bank and doesn’t need another victory because she already possesses the briefcase that guarantees her a future title match whenever and wherever she chooses. It seems Electra Lopez will likely lose this triple threat match as she appears to be the least capable competitor among them, leaving Naomi as the strongest choice for victory.
